It's been years since we've been to Dave and Busters, and the first time ever in town. It was actually in San Diego that we first went before the one in Fresno was built. So yeah, that long. I'm on vacation this week and didn't want it to be a stay-cation. In fact, I was hoping to get away for at least an overnight trip. I was thinking, Santa Cruz, Tahoe, Lots Angeles even. I shoot my ideas over to my wife and she says, I was thinking Dave and Busters. Clearly we were on different pages. But I understand where she is coming from, and as you can see, her idea won out. We don't tell the kids where we are going. They just know we are going somewhere for lunch and that it's a surprise. We pull up and my youngest says, I've always wanted to come here! We drive past it every week on the way to gynastics so I shouldn't have been surprised. The older kids barely remember going to D&B as kids, so it's a treat for them too. We walk in and we get the biggest gift ever by a guy with his boys walking out. He has an all day pass that he wants to give to us. We can use it for tickets, but the games will be free. We come to find out that there is a 30 second freeze on the card in between uses, but we learn to adjust. But I'm getting ahead of myself. We order our food, ensuring that we order from the menu where we can get a game card. Best bang for our buck. I got the crispy chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce. Three of my kids got cheese burgers and my wife got the wings. Everyone enjoyed their food. What my son and I really wanted was the Buffalo chicken sandwich that comes with blue cheese, but it didn't come with a game card. In addition to the free all-day card we received, we ended up with 4-$10 gaming cards, but those go quick! Like, 15-20 min. Mostly by my daughter playing games that earn tickets. My oldest is more interested in skill games. There's one in the middle where you step on lights on the ground or touch them on the wall. We did that one as a family. Lots of fun. We spent about 2 hours there. I'm sure the boys would have stayed longer if they could but my daughter was winding down. Before we leave, we pass the all-day card to another family. We had a surprise party here for my mom who turned 55 , Jayson and Randy who are the managers were amazing! Unfortunately I couldn't have them the whole time. Food came out on time but no mustard or ketchup or any dipping sauce came out with it. She also charged my guest a soda and I paid for unlimited soda for my guest in the contract. We repeatedly asked our server and she just kept saying she will get it. She was very forgetful the whole time. She also kept telling us she was working a double shift and that she's tired not sure why we need to know that information also she would take 25 mins to bring in our drinks and then she would say "I'm just one person I can't carry everything" which I felt was very rude and I know everyone else did. We ended up asking a gentlemen walking by to help us out with dips and sauces for the food and drinks and he did which was so kind of him. We spent over $500 on my mom's party and the server was just not the best. Very sweet girl but Brooklyn seemed like she was overwhelmed and didn't want to do it. Also my guest all had different tabs for drinks and she got our drinks mixed on different tabs and told us she couldn't fix it and if they don't mind just paying for somebody else's drink. When closing out the tabs she was telling us to leave a tip here (on the screen) and didn't give anybody receipts after we asked for them. And we find out the next day from Tere the event coordinator that there's an automatic gratuity charge of %20 on each guest tab because we are a party.. which was very unfortunate because we were not told that and we were still tipping her at the end on the card. Randy was the only one who told me when signing my contract and paying remaining balance that there's an automatic tip no need to tip. But I didn't know it applied to all my guest tabs when they were ordering drinks as well. Very inconvenient and the event coordinator should let people know there's automatic gratuity for everyone in your party and every transaction because you guys are a party. The managers were amazing but the server was not the best at all. And now I know for the future and I'll make sure to share that if you book a party here request two servers and that there's automatic gratuity in each transaction we do because we are a party. read more

We went for an offered Super Bowl deal and had a lot of fun, however, the deal made mention of free plays and wasn't upfront about what that meant. We ended up buying credits anyhow but part of the reason we came was for free plays. On to the review. The wings were crisp and flavorful, with just the right amount of sauce. We had bbq, sweet chili, and garlic parm. The wings were even good with no sauce. We also ordered the pretzel dogs and tower of nachos. The dogs were so good. The seasoning on the pretzel was amazing, the hot dogs were delish. The tower of nachos was a miss for me personally, but the other parties enjoyed it. It was so loud due to it being Super Bowl but everyone was really well behaved and had fun! read more

We came here to celebrate my nephews birthday. The server and manager were really nice. It's an arcade/bar restaurant so it's loud, high energy. The food was pretty basic, burgers, pastas, wings, etc. They had a black bean burger on the menu, which I'm always grateful for a vegan option. I added onion straws and BBQ sauce. It was good. Black beans patties are my least favorite of the vegan patty options. But for a black bean burger it was good. They give a large portion of fries with the burger. I got very full. I also ordered a dragon fruit spritz mocktail. It was too sweet for me, but nice they have mocktails on the menu. They have deals where you can buy a game card and get your meal for $5 or $10. Depending on what game card you get. It's fun for kids or an outing with a group. The food does take awhile and half the table got their food 5 minutes before the other half of us got it. My daughter's hoop team was down in Fresno for a tournament, and we planned to go to Dave and Busters for a team bonding event. I tried to make reservations but waited 30 minutes on two different occasions for someone to answer the phone, and no one did. I even asked for a callback, but that never happened before we went to the place. I felt frustrated because I wanted to make sure we had enough space to sit together as a large group. We still decided to take our chances . I walked in, a young man named Jordan greeted me. I explained my situation, and he quickly told his coworkers. They all apologized for the trouble I faced and reassured the manager would be hearing about this. Soon after, the manager came out to talk to me. She also apologized for the inconvenience and gave me her business card. For future reservation parties. Originally, we had only 15 people RSVP for our event, so I planned to set up a table for 20. However, things quickly changed, and the number of guests jumped to 40! I started to feel stressed and worried about how their staff would manage. Alyssa wasn't concerned at all she brought in extra hands which was Sierra, and they both were amazing. They quickly took everyone's orders and made sure everything flowed smoothly. Jordan, another team member, kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything, which was very helpful. What began as a chaotic situation turned out to be a wonderful and memorable experience for our team. I truly appreciated how the staff worked together to make our gathering enjoyable. In the end, we all had a great time, thanks to their hard work and dedication. Now, let's talk about the fun part! Our kids and coaches really loved the games we played. Choosing this place was definitely the right decision. They had a great variety of games, and everything worked perfectly. We didn't have problems with any of the games, which made it even more enjoyable. The place itself was very clean and well-managed, making us feel comfortable. Also, the food was delicious! We ordered our meals and they came out so quickly; we finished eating in under one hour. The staff was fast and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Went for a work event. There were a lot of us there, I love that they had a lot of employees there and ready to assist us with all of our needs. The bar was clean. The bartender was super nice and smiling. We had our food buffet style. The room the food was in was nice and clean the way they had the buffet set up everything flowed Fast. The line was long, but we were able to get our food with the quick They had ribs and hot wings, and macaroni and cheese, cornbread, lots of good food. Even though there were a lot of us there, they kept the place really clean as soon as anyone spilled anything. It was cleaned up right away. The gaming area was nice and clean. Even though there are a bunch of people touching all over everything there were no sticky controllers . The bathrooms were clean. Huge shoutout to the GM at Dave & Buster's. We had a bad experience in December with a gift card issue and overcharge, but when we came back this Friday he went above and beyond. Went there this week (6/5/26)to celebrate a birthday. Party of 12. There was a smaller party in the room near us. The rest of the tables were empty. The waitress (friendly) took a few orders at a time which meant they came at different times. Half of the table was done before our half had even rec'd our meal. While we waited for our meal 50 minutes later my side salad came but I couldn't eat it because we hadn't been given utensils yet. It took 10 minutes to hail down somebody to ask for utensils so that we could eat. Her ( a different waitress) replied as she looked at our table " oh yeah, huh?" It took another 15 minutes to get utensils. It was over an hour to get an order of boneless wings ( wet parmesan) as opposed to a dry rub. They came cold and dry with a little sprinkle of parmesan on top of 3 of them. The rest were... We'll dry. My son's meal hadn't arrived yet and we inquired about that. Fish and chips shouldn't take an hour and a half to make. We found out by the waitress that they forgot to cook his order. They comped his meal but he had to wait even longer for it. I was at this location before about 3 years ago and it was the same experience. I thought I'd give it a try thinking it must have been an off night for the waitress and the cooks.... But now I know. I will not be back .. Ever. I will discourage anyone I know not to dine there. It's a waste of time and money. We could have spent our $250.00 elsewhere and had a much more better experience. I give this place a half star. Only because our 1st waitress was friendly. And I think still learning. I recommend more training before putting them out on the floor on their own. read more

Mannn my first time here since the renovation and it's beautiful and lively. I went last Friday and it was great, the food, the drinks and everything was quick. I came again Monday 06/08/2026 to watch the nba finals and the server was the WORSE server I ever had in my 30 years of life. He didn't write anything down and kept forgetting our orders. He tried memorizing everything and came back 20 min later saying "remind me your order again" like wtf. Then again he forgets my son's food. Fast forward I order another drink and he forgets it and comes back 16 min after and says tell me again what your drink is. At that point the game was over and I respectfully asked for the tab. I was visiting Fresno and decided to come to Dave and Buster's to play some games. I've visited various D&Bs throughout the US, and I have to say that this location in Fresno is pretty small and run down. The selection of games here was quite limited. They didn't have classic coin drop or the Cyclone ticket games. With the limited selection of games here, many were stuck, malfunctioned, or didn't reset properly so unfortunately I didn't get the full time allotted to play the games as I was either shorted time, balls, or targets in the ticket-earning games. When I informed the staff of one of the malfunctioning games, they tried to recredit my account back but instead they wound up deducting the game twice. All in all I felt like it was kind of a crap shoot. Overall, a disappointing D&B experience. I could live with the limited games selection, but I think what was most upsetting was how many games weren't working/playing properly. Being shortchanged is not fun, and was a waste of my money I spent. Not coming back to this D&B branch. read more

Worst experience ever. This was my first time at this location. I went with a group of eight people, and I decided to get the food combo with a 90 minute unlimited play card. Six of the people I was with purchased their cards and went to play in the arcade area. Another friend of mine and I stayed back to order food at the bar. Nichole was the only person at the bar and had a full bar with a lot of people watching the basketball game. However, because she was the only one there it took six minutes to order our food and get a drink . On top of that we waited another 23 minutes to get one of the two burgers that were ordered. It was the exact same order. I told my friend to eat her food and to go use her 90 minute card that she paid for with the rest of the group. It took an additional eight minutes for them to bring out my burger, and the bartender said she had checked twice and even walked to the back of the kitchen. At this point I had already snacked on the funnel cake straws. I was too full from the sugar to eat my meal. It didn't make sense for me to get my receipt to close out the drinks that I had ordered because I had already finished my beverage way before my food came out. At this time, it was almost 9 o'clock and we had gotten inside Dave & Buster's at 7:54. The staff looked overwhelmed, and it was sad to see people waiting at the walk up bar for more than five minutes to order their drink. It took eight minutes for a manager to come out and see me. This place needs new leadership. This was my first time and last time here. This establishment was very disappointing and I am not going to promote this to anyone else. Came to watch a NBA playoffs game on a Saturday afternoon 3pm and a UFC match for the big and multiple screens, which are great. We were both planning to stay through 7pm to watch both events back to back. Unfortunately D & B's services had not improved since our last game day visit. Delayed greeting on entry (5-10min) even though 3-4 employees were at the check in podium; 2 of them are just chatting about work, 1 is busy on the headsets and the last one looking untrained on what to do. Was sat down and another 10 min before a server came to offer water. At this point I felt bad for the man next to me and his family, because they were there when we arrived but had yet for someone to take an order from them. Due to the continued slow service, the fact that it hadn't changed since our last visit (where we had to order 2 drinks per round to ensure we had service), we ended up leaving and going to the PressBox instead, and having the rest of our group of 6 meet up there. Sorry D & B, you have the potential to be a go to place due to the arcade games and giant screens, but still failing on service times. I told them lets me up for fun at Dave and Busters. Everything was on point. We were seated right away especially when you have children in the group. The food and menu was on point, the music was on point, the drinks and entree was on point. I had the fish and chips was yummy. Everything was hot and fresh like it should be. We played a little longer than norm & dined in to take advantage of the 30% discount & improved menu. Some of our fav games were gone: Candy Crush, Time Crisis, & 4-Player Table Hockey (did see a 2-player) unless I missed them on the floor. There's several multi-player games that our whole family can play at the same time: Halo: Fireteam Raven (except 1 of the guns was out of order) & Hot Wheels; kids weren't interested in NBA Super Stars. We loved Centipede, but it's only 3 players; the kids were quite addicted to destroying the boss spider; it's a 1-shot opportunity. ＼(｀0´)／ My daughter just made the swim team, & I always felt her reaction time was on the slow side so I tested her on Speed of Light & proved my point; it was a hoot to watch her play. Basketball Pro was a hard pounding arm workout! Doodle Jump is equally frustrating as the app. LOL There were a handful of machines that need maintenance/repairs. The Platinum Winter Season Pass caps tickets won to 2,000 tickets/week. With unlimited game play, I can see why it needs to be capped so their Win! Zone doesn't get wiped out. ;-) We hit the jackpot on Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy, scoring 558 tickets, excludes tickets won while filling the Guardians' train! It was nice to see teamwork from my 2 bickering LOs. ^_^ The arcade & carnival games range between 55¢ - $1.30 based on the "Best Value" Power Card: $100 for 750 chips (13.33¢/chip), definitely more than my 25¢ arcade heydays. We had a friendly server, but service itself was not prompt with a half-full dining room; it took awhile for our order to be served. Short-staffed? My husband & daughter shared a pasta plate because they wanted to eat a little lighter, my son liked the cheeseburger plate that comes with fries & a drink, & Spicy Smashed Burger has been my go-to since its menu intro. How can you go wrong with elote to any veggie? Wrong! It was pretty bad... the Elote Cauliflower was served cool, was old, & had an off-putting taste. I had to wait awhile for Alyssa to make her rounds to inform her of the issue; she seemed dubious about my complaint & said she needed her manager to come over. Fine, but there's still an issue with this side order & I'm going to say the same thing; she came back on her own & said it will be removed from my check, so I asked to add a side of green beans. If you saw the off-white, wilted cauliflower, you'd probably want it gone too. I didn't care for the removal reason "did not like food" as it was a food quality/freshness issue, especially if the purpose is used to determine inventory. Other service negatives: my dedicated Platinum Winter Season Pass Power Card's Tickets were wiped upon check-in, empty water glasses, incorrectly tablet & paper bill suggested tips. 1) If I didn't catch the missing tickets & brought it to their attention, 3,500 tickets would be lost. 2) Our water glasses weren't refilled until we were done, & that's because I caught her eye, raised my glass & tapped it to indicate a refill was needed. 3) Paper receipt suggested an 18% tip that included the rejected cauliflower in the tabulation ($59.93 x 18% = $10.79), & the $11.29 tablet suggested tip would mean my bill was $62.74. The tablet padded an extra $2.81 for an 18% tip of $11.29. What's the big deal about a 50¢ or 4.43%? Not much, but if you're hosting a party/event, this can be a nice chunk of change. Yikes! One of the few times I didn't calculate my tip & I'm overcharged... I recommend double-checking your bill & calculating your own tip. Will we return? Sure, Dave & Buster's is still cool family-fun with the kids, but I would be careful with my checks when dining in (review total & do your own tip calcs). Five Stars - A Mom's Peace of Mind! New management, new solution! Talk about one way in, one way out! I was honestly nervous going to Dave & Buster's--I mean, there's so much going on: games, lights, kids running around, food, drinks... the chaos! I wasn't sure how I'd manage keeping an eye on my kid, my purse, and my meal all at once. But then I realized--this place is strategically designed with only one entrance and one exit. Game-changer. I could actually relax, sit at the table, enjoy my food, and trust that my kid was having a blast without me hovering. I was privileged to go out with my young adults which consisted of my nephew, my son, my daughter in church friends we were treated with great respect. Even when it came was not working, they give us extra tickets to compensate for a nonworking game. The service there with the ladies was great playing darts with our party and them getting our drinks to us. It took a little bit longer because they had to put fresh ingredients in. They were so great to bring extra stuff to us to let us know that we were Valued as customers even than young people were treated very respectful.. I love the security around there feel very safe.. Went with are two sons and families for some grandchildren fun. They were all smiles the whole time and it warmed our hearts seeing them so happy playing the video games. So we had a large party of 15, and the service was great our waiter Alyssa was great. I am really big on customer service and although are party was large she was great. The general manager was really nice, came to see if we needed anything and asked us how our food was. Told my kid happy birthday.,I was surprised how good the food was! And it was pretty quick for our large party. Definitely a different vibe from the past. They remodeled added new games and features. Our kids actually won alot of prizes. Drinks had more ice than anything. Food was bland. I ordered a burger and fries, my plate literally had like 8 fries on it.. max. My husband's chicken sandwich was dry. As for games, after loading up my card via the app, the card readers wouldn't work with my phone. Had to get another card all for most of the machines to glitch and take our chips with no pay time. If you're looking to save a bit of money, I would strongly suggest going on Wednesdays for half off games & weekdays from 4-7 and 10-close for the $5 Happy Hour drinks. Parking is easy here! I would say the ambiance is usually very bright and loud due to all the tv's and music! This specific time it was quieter, but usually my boyfriend and I literally have to talk into each other's ears to have a conversation. We just got drinks this time-- pictured below is a mango redbull. Although expensive, it was great! Our bartender was Todd and he was so kind and worked so quickly. Todd himself deserves 5 stars!! Anyway, Dave & Busters is pretty fun for an occasional hangout or date. We only really like around 5 games, so we pretty much stick to those. The service here is TERRIBLEEEEE. Staff is very unorganized and short staffed. We can in on. Saturday at 2 pm (not a rush hour time) and it's currently 4 pm and we still don't have a table. The establishment is dirty and unkept. Management needs to hire staff to make sure this business is adequately equipped for weekends. I'm only giving this place a one star because my kids are enjoying the games.... But as a parent I am stressedddd, even after some beers. read more

Happy Hour and Promo Days are the best! Initially, I came for the drinks. Then found out there was a deal for food. 50% off everything for a short period of time. Too bad I only went there once. It was a great deal to go daily. I had the wings and flat bread pizza. The food here was amazingly good! Our server was amazing as well, considering it was his first week on the job here. The place was nice and clean. They had games, but they were limited due to the space. There's plenty of parking in their lot. read more

I've been to numerous D&Bs. This one is definitely off. It's smaller and doesn't have that same atmosphere I've experienced in others. I actually went to this location twice. On both occasions service was definitely sub-par. Looking around and listening, I think this is how this particular location operates as other tables were being ignored as well. Staff loved to sit behind the bar and just BS, just a little too much in my opinion. Anyway, there's plenty of parking so no issues there. Typical arcade area, but other D&Bs are definitely better...way better. The dining area lacked that coziness feeling too. But don't take my review wrong. This IS a nice place. Prices these days are moderate everywhere. Prices here are up accordingly. It took forever for our food to come. And bringing appetizers at the same time as your primary order is a total mistake. In my opinion, the appetizers should always be comp'd when this happens... especially if they come AFTER your main course. So this place definitely needs managerial improvements. I'll come back here again, but keep my expectations low. read more
