This woman has the worst reputation in town as a property manager! Based on these reviews she must have had a life crisis as she does not live up to them any longer. She really doesn't know how to talk to the people who live in her properties. To intimidate and dismiss tenents who need repairs in the homes she rents to them displays a serious lack of character. On more than 3 occassions that I know of myself, when presented with a problem in a home her first response is "why don't you just leave". Um....NOT ok Robin!! Borders on illegal in California.....Save yourself the aggravation and rent from someone else!! read more

I Have never been spoken too with such disregard, until I called KCRE office to inquire about a temporary rental home. I'm still shocked and very disappointed by the way I was treated. This company was highly regarded by one of my professional colleagues, however my husband and I will be taking our business elsewhere. We have a Very large Estate to sell, which is why we were needing the rental . However I was not able to verbalize that, due to the " managers" unwillingness to say anything other than one word responses. I'm updating my review now that we have moved out and my experience with Kings County Properties is complete, from start to end. We rented in Hanford for about 3 years and have nothing but nice things to say regarding KCP. The staff has always been helpful and friendly, but I'm going to be straight with you all, I get the very real sense that if you are not doing what you are suppose to be doing, they aren't going to put up with your crap. So, pay your rent on time, don't thrash your house, don't run a meth lab in your kitchen, don't party until 2am every night or be shooting off guns in your backyard, or blocking your neighbor's driveway with your car and I don't think you'll have an issue. The renter/rentee relationship is a 2 way street, each party needs to be doing what they are suppose to be doing in order to ensure happiness. We did everything we could to take care of our rental home, loved it like it was our own (notice, I didn't say "treated it", I am stunned at how some people "treat" their homes). KCP always made us feel appreciated for our efforts. They thanked us all the time for being good renters. Once we forgot about the rent (during the holiday season) and they forgave the late fee (see, that's what being a good renter gets you). It was an honest mistake and we were prepared to take our lumps, but they waived it and we were very grateful. They always got back to us when we needed them, took care of repairs in a timely manner and were just always very good to us. Like I said though, I think that's a 2 way street. On move out, I scrubbed that house like you wouldn't believe. They gave us a move out check list and I studied it like the S.A.T.s, desperate to get as much of the deposit back as we could. I have run into issues with other companies playing the deposit game, where they charge you for things you just don't even believe.... I am happy to report we got our full deposit back. Every penny. I had to work for it though, my entire family and even my daughter's boyfriend, we were all on our knees for 2 days scrubbing grout. No joke. So, if you know you are a decent/good renter, and are looking for a rental company that isn't going to be playing games with you and will be good to you, this is the place to come. If you are bad news... I suggest steering clear because I really do get the sense they aren't going to put up with much bs. Just sayin. =) read more

We came to Kings County Properties when we found a house we wanted to rent about 6 months ago. The whole process of viewing the home and applying for it went very smoothly. Within a few weeks we were moved in and happy with the house. Over the past few months we've have issues with the house and we've been disappointed with how they've been handled. When we call in to report the problem we are told that it will be taken care of quickly but that's never been the case. It takes numerous phone calls to find out any sort of information of the situation. Lots of just passing the buck. We understand it's an old home and problems will arise but we do wish that there was more communication. read more

I've been using Robin Boyer as a property manager for over an year. As you may know Hanford gets pretty darn HOT, well last summer the AC went out. Her patience in dealing with the frustration of the tenant was incredible. She also dealt with the home warranty company, parts were on back order etc. The AC would not be in working order for a couple of weeks, again hotter than you know what. She on her own took fans and a water cooler to the tenant to appease them. Now she's the listing agent on another piece of rental property. To explain I the property owner live out of the area and I didn't have a property manager on this property. Well, as an excellent agent that she is...again she dealt with the tenant and made arrangements for vacancy, cleaning and the repairing the items that needed attention. To no surprise, I feel she has excellent business intuition,integrity and follow through as well as being personable. I highly recommend her. read more

I was initially pleased with the work and staff who helped me at this location but that quickly devolved into a nightmarishly poor experience. I had been speaking to the staff who work here regarding a property for over a week, I had my application ready to go, called to see if the property was still available and was told I was good to go, made a 20 minute drive to set up the tour only to find out that the property had been rented out within a 2 hour window after my call and I was not notified at all. This was a forgivable occurrence, what followed was not. While the staff here were kind enough to retrofit my application and set me up with another tour, I wish I had just walked away and saved my time. I ended up touring a location that was essentially dilapidated and entirely misrepresented by the picture's listed online. Myself and my Co-applicant we're given a tour by one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. This person Who I later found out was the OWNER of this business showed up late, spoke in a condescending manner to us, did not want to answer our questions, spent a good portion of our tour dealing with a personal phone call, and more or less wanted to leave after 10 minutes. This was hands down one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had and I am only giving it a two star rating because the staff here we're respectable enough to give me a refund after this incredible waste of my time and energy. read more

Robin answers her calls and emails, day, nights, weekends or whenever. You can tell that Robin, treats your house like its her own. She understands landlords concerns, does everything possible within her means, to save us money when repairs were needed and always kept us updated with current happenings of our rental. We also used Robin just recently for the sale of our rental. Being that us Landlords we're out of town, we basically left a lot of trust with Robin and let her guide us.
