Great rental agency. Always was there when we needed something. I rented a house from them for a year and an half.

Granted, most of this is probably the owner's fault but I find it disappointing that the property manager had no knowledge of this and seemed blind sided when brought to their attention. However, my biggest concern is that WE HAVE NO HEAT (it's been about three weeks now). IT IS 31 DEGREES OUT THIS MORNING. They sent out a company that they've had issues with before over a week and a half ago. You would think that no heat would concern someone but it doesn't seem like it does at at. They gave us a space heater after we "complained" for the 5th time but it is completely useless. So, I guess we will put on two layers of clothes and four blankets while the property managers sleep soundly in their own warm homes. The only reason I am recommending this company is because most interactions with staff have been polite and they did take care of the other issues quickly. Other than that I am highly disappointed. Let me also remind you, that under the law no heat is considered an uninhabitable condition.

Unfortunately, I find myself in perfect agreement with the rest of the military reviews on here. I had submitted an application and payed the application fee. They processed my application, ran my credit, and approved me for the property. While I was away at SERE (good times) they gave the property to someone else despite multiple phone calls ahead of time coordinating with their office staff. Then the manager Norma said I was at fault and refused to refund my application fee. I explained that this is a small community and that is not a great way to treat Navy people. I was really hoping they would make it right and I politely requested they at least refund the fee, nothing. The manager said "they would not be doing that" and said she's not worried about their reputation. Do not make the same mistake I did!

I normally don't leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience with the OWNER…read moreand broker of "Help-U-Sell," KIMBER REGAN, so other buyers and agents are aware. In our situation, the seller accepted our offer and we had a signed and accepted agreement on a property, with financing already approved. Near the end of the process we were unexpectedly told over the phone that the deal would not be moving forward. At the time there was no clear written explanation provided, which made the situation very confusing and frustrating. During the process there were also comments and communication that suggested the transaction might go more smoothly if the buyer worked directly through the listing side rather than using our own representation. When that did not happen, the level of cooperation seemed to change. There were also statements made during the conversation that gave the impression that working relationships with certain buyers or lenders might be discouraged in the future. This created the feeling that we were being informally "blacklisted" or that others might be discouraged from working with us, which was surprising and concerning in a professional real estate transaction. Because of the seriousness of the situation, we are exploring reporting our experience to the appropriate professional organizations that oversee real estate conduct in California. If anyone else has had a similar experience, it may be worth looking into the proper channels available for addressing professional concerns. Real estate transactions are significant financial decisions, and clear communication, transparency, and professionalism should always be a priority. Based on this experience, I strongly encourage buyers and agents to make sure everything is documented in writing throughout the process when dealing with KIMBER REGAN and her business.

The other agent never quite understood that we wanted a house nearish our family, with a decent yard for our dog, a gas range in a 2bd/ba model. The other agent kept showing us 1bd/ba's, homes with no master ensuite, no yards at all or in scary places. I found a house we were very interested in, but had questions about the solar. Our old agent kept refering to the MLS paper that we also had. That paper did not have the answers we needed. He made no attempt to find the answers we needed. My brother happened to be over and texted Marina about the house and our questions about the solar. Within 30 mins she had a copy of the contract and a 12mo payment history for us. I was gobsmacked. We felt bad, but the other agent just didnt seem to care what we wanted. After seeing 36 houses, while walking through this one he finally made a connection. He looked at me and said, "I'm starting to see a pattern, you want to be over here because its close to your family" my head swiveled slowly to look at him. That was what we had been saying for 3 months!!! I just couldn't defend him to my parents or my spouse anymore. We decided to work with Marina to put an offer in on that house. The seller decided to raise the price and ask for an outrageous deposit. So, we backed out. 2 days later we saw a different house. This one ticked all of the boxes we wanted. She again helped us negotiate an offer, it was accepted and countered. We entered into escrow. She needed our broker info so we gave her what we had including a letter of pre-qualification. Our broker was almost impossible to reach at this point and eventually backed out. It turns out he was friends with the other agent. We were stuck!! Marina came through and heped us find the rock star that is Eddie. In less than 30hrs he managed to get us approves. It turns out the other broker never even ran our numbers officially. We had to jump some MAJOR hurdles to get approved. Marina explained that this home was being sold contingent to the sellers buying a new home. We understood and were willing to wait. It could be 67 days. 30 day escrow for them, for us and 7 days for them to move out. During this time pretty much everything that could go south did!! The house was listed as 1300sf, the appraiser said it was 1100sf that was a $10k blunder. We suspect the listing agent knew, and was hoping to pass this off on us because he had tac records etc ready. In the end Marina got them to drop the price. Because of that, the seller was refusing to honor our contract and pay closing. She, our broker and (after some arm twisting) the sellers agent all cut their comissions a bit to make it work. This impressed the holy bajesus out of myself and the Mr. I almost cried. She is committed to doing the right thing and that is a rare and precious thing these days. This sale almost died a number of times because the seller did stupid things.. every-single-time Marina had either thought of it ahead if time and was prepared or tackled it head on with staunch ferocity. Man, was I glad she was on our side! This thing took over 70 days!! But, damn if that woman and her mother, Kimber didn't handle it like the pros they are!! We were kept in the loop and felt like they were truly on our side. Sorry for the book, and these are just the highlights!! But seriously, if you are looking to buy or sell a home you cannot go wrong with these people!! They will fight for you as if you are family!

I had a very nice, clean well maintained home, which I had built and lived in for over 10 years. The carpet had been replaced, new tile through out the house. The stove looked brand new. The yard was well maintained. Had asked that they do a walk thru every 6 months, had also asked that they have no pets. I went and checked on it and was horrified. The yard my trees were gone all the plants and flowers were dead. The house smelled. So decided to sell. They got the tenants out. They had dogs, which again I was not informed and they were told no pets. Found out they had not collected the security deposit. Mind you the tenants had lived in the house for close to 2 years. When I finally did the final walk after they had it cleaned thru with the Property Management. I was shocked the house was not clean. The grout was black. The grease on the stove was disgusting. Both tubs were black yes black . The smell in the house was awful. I kept saying this is clean and they assured me it was. So if you have a home you are thinking of renting please in my opinion A One Property is not for you!!! The worst part about all this is they think they did nothing wrong, they could not understand why I did not use them to sell my house, they thought they took great care of my home, I was to emotional about it. Sorry my house looked like it belonged in the slums they did not take care of it AT ALL in my opinion.

My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Tenants know who to call and stuff actually gets fixed lol. I also like that I'm not just left guessing anymore. New applicant? I know. Lease signed? I know. Something pops up? I hear about it before it's a bigger problem. I don't feel outta the loop like I did before. Honestly... I'm not stressing about who's living there or how long it'll sit empty. Things feel steady now. After years of chaos and headaches, this kinda stability is worth way more than I thought it would be. Thank you Chambers.!

Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. I don't feel stuck or unsure every time something small comes up, and that peace of mind alone is worth a lot. Thank you Chambers Property Management!
