As a homeowner I wanted to support a smaller local company, but ended up wasting 3 months by choosing venture. They had yellow flags from the very beginning, where my requests for recommendations for vendors took a week to be answered so I should have known. I had to manage them every step of the way, if I wanted to get things done. For example, the pictures they took of the house made the house look so dark so I had to ask them to retake it. The only positive experience was they were nice about letting me cancel my agreement which is why I gave 2 stars not 1. I ended up going with another bigger property management company that got our house rented within 2 weeks, but it is lamentable that I wasted 3 months with Venture. The market could have been bad, but they did nothing to help me get the property get rented, and even when I would come up with ideas it would take them days to get back to me about implementing it.
