I was in contact with Adam for months in hopes that I would get the OK. I am so glad I moved here. Everyone is wonderful my building is so nice and quiet and friendly, the office staff is amazing the maintenance staff is amazing. You need something done and they were here in hours. From free coffee and hot chocolate in the office to a postal hub so your items do not get stolen off your porch, bingo every month to win money off your rent. When I moved in everything was clean and new. I hope to be here for a very long time I recommend giving Carrington a chance to become your new home. We have fun here we have contests. We have movie night pool parties and it just feels like home.

Specifically the manager, kevin, and assistant manager, tiara, are horrible! Numerous staff have quit because of the shoddy management, as well as residents, and more are planning to leave. I know this first hand. Tiara is rude, lazy, and arrogant. She doesn't go the extra mile for anyone! She does the bare minimum and has an extremely fake demeanor. She gets irritated when dealing with the tenants. When my fob failed to work, tiara claimed she'd fix it, but never did. Fortunately, one of the maintenance workers offered to get it activated since I had tried several times to no avail. I also had to contact her several times regarding some paperwork. She never reached out to me. I had to keep going to the office to finally get it taken care of. Kevin is weak. He doesn't want to discuss anything in person and will actually hide from you if you try. He personally targeted me and my neighbors and I couldn't even tell you why, as they are some of the nicest people who live on the property! He is constantly watching camera footage to go after the residents about one thing or another. He is NOT management material! The walls are super thin and I could hear just about everything my neighbors were doing- alarms going off, stomping around, conversations, music, the tv, etc. The management strives to put in as little money as possible for repairs, if they do repairs at all! Therefore, you keep dealing with the same problems which will only be solved by moving out! I asked to have overgrown landscaping trimmed back. The second time I asked, I received a very snotty remark from Kevin, And the work was never done. The buildings have leaks all over, so don't be surprised if your unit has water coming in during the many storms the area receives! They also claim they'll dna test dog excrement that isn't picked up, but they never actually do because they don't want to pay for the testing to be done. I could provide numerous additional examples, but this review is already very lengthy. It may be an ideal location to some, but I would NOT recommending living at this location! This NSF payment was made by the parent of my son's previous roommate that had moved out and not been on the lease for 3 months. Apparently the parent forgot to remove their payment information from their portal, and the account they were using to make payments had been closed. Because of this error on the part of someone not even living at or associated with the property, a NSF charge was levied and I now will be unable to pay the rent each month with my bank account (since there have been 2 NSF payments on the account, the other also being due to banking issues with the other parent's account). My options for payment are now only cashier's check or credit card (with a 3% processing fee). I called and spoke with the owner of MMC and he was unwilling to see this as an extenuating circumstance and make an exception to his company's policy for me and my son.

My one year of living here has caused me so much anxiety and stress, that you could not PAY me $1300 a month to live here. I work from home, so I am able to witness the day to day occurrences that I am about to detail in this review. Halfway through my stay, myself and my S/O had our vehicle stolen in the parking lot, along with other vehicles in the complex being stolen as well. THIS COMPLEX HAS NO CAMERAS. I watch drug deals happen routinely through the night, and I have notified the staff for 4 months now, and I am given the same excuse others seem to get: "our property manager is in a meeting", and nothing is done about ANYTHING. Each day, the parking lot is filled with junkyard cars, that tenants rev and fly through the parking lot at 30mph+, so if you have children, this is just ONE reason to not live here. Mind you, I have photo and video proof of every single thing I have listed, that will make your mouth drop. I have emailed these assets to the office for months, so if you're curious enough, just ask the office to see the proof. I have begged the office to reach out to Murfreesboro PD to at least deter crime, by driving through and making face in the complex. Through my entire year here, the only police car that has drove through has been the one responding to our stolen vehicle. The community of tenants of the complex speaks volumes to who they attract with this place. Utter disgust. Mold grows on the breezeway doors, tenants throw their clogged sink water in to the breezeway, the stairs are cracked completely, this place is a dump due to the quality of tenants, and the office is to blame for accepting some very poor-performing individuals. I have emailed and sent picture proof to the office more times than I can count, and am miserably counting down the days until my lease ends. I have paid rent every month on time, and never have a complaint until this all happened. I will gladly write the good about this place, as it's only fair. The maintenance team has always been kind, and helpful. I've only had one issue inside of my unit and it was immediately fixed with zero issues. I do appreciate these guys and to be honest, not one issue is about the inside units. Unfortunately the community of tenants is where the problems lie, and It's discouraging that the staff inside the offices, show by ACTION that they do not plan to work towards a SAFER community. I genuinely believe that it's only a matter of time before a shooting happens here. It's that unsafe. If you're looking to have your vehicle stolen, and wake up throughout the night from yelling and car alarms, then look no further. Do not fall victim to the price point and location like I did. I paid $615 in rent for a 2 bedroom. Other apartments in the area (in low crime neighborhoods, that is - top priority for me) charge the same for 1 bedroom apartments. I have had no issues that required maintenance. The laundry room is nice, and the grounds are well kept. Some of my neighbors don't pick up after their dogs, but it looks like that is taken care of when the lawn mowing is done. The neighbors are friendly and I have always felt safe here. I highly recommend it.
