We're not upset because they didn't include white Peruvian lillies.  We're upset because they didn't include ANY flowers. We didn't expect a perfect match, but we did expect an item close to what they advertised. We bypassed other arrangements on their website because they didn't contain flowers/accent features. It didn't matter because they sent exactly what we passed on. We appreciate that they responded to our email complaint but the explanation didn't make sense. In response, we were told that because of covid, they didn't have lilies. However, it's difficult to imagine that their entire shop didn't have ANY flowers to use as a substitution. Instead of giving us the elements we wanted, they added a few more plants. Adding something we didn't want, while ignoring what we actually ordered and expected, was lazy at best, and unprofessional at worst. (Once they decided they were incapable of fulfilling our order as contracted, they could have called for further instructions, since they had our phone number.) 2. It arrived without a ribbon. What happened to the white satin ribbon "to commemorate the life of the deceased", as advertised on your website? Instead of "lush elegance" you sent a sad, uninspired arrangement. We weren't given a satisfying reason as to why the ribbon wasn't included, either. We were told "there are no design notes regarding that on the order." The order was made on THEIR website. It would have been admirable had they just been direct and said, "Oh my," "It looks like we messed up!" This will be a two star review because they did deliver on time and they did respond promptly to our complaint. In response, though, this is what we were offered: "If you'd like a partial refund for the bow and 2 stems of alstroemerias, I can authorize that, it's a $6 value." We told her it wasn't "necessarily" about the money: we were disappointed because we were looking for an elegant arrangement to serve as a reflection of our sympathy. They say their "goal is to exceed our customers' expectations with quality, value and professional service." Garden of Eden, you've failed miserably.

Today I attended the Herb Planting Class at Kospia Farms. First I want to comment that with…read moreeverything going on at the Farm today in celebration of Mothers, it was very well organized. Behind the greenhouse, we had a delightful time listening to our instructors who clearly have worked side by side at the farm. Educational facts about herbs with a sprinkling of humor began the event. It is so wonderful to attend a class where they share their knowledge about the herbs and their uses. They give you salient advice that helps you decide on which herbs fit the taste profile you enjoy so you build your herb pot on what fits you. Then to top it all off they gave us a handout that covered trimming, drying and pairing herbs as well as a few recipes! A wonderful experience! Thank you for making my Mother's day extra special!
