Pub/hotel situated in an old stone Georgian building in a great spot overlooking the square in the centre of Masham.
The pub had a modern feel but retained some character and had an open fire.
Being a chain restaurant the food had no flair and was average pub grub. I had a bacon and cheese burger, certainly not the best I have had but OK. Feed back on other things we had - lasagne was good, fish pie needed a little more fish, trio of pies had too much pastry, wild boar burger was jut like a sausage patty and the Sunday lunch was very good. read more
