I know a lot of ladies who live in Mathews and have a great time taking one or two classes here. It's a great way to meet folks in Mathews. It's led to my mom's year or so long obsession with making "toothbrush rugs" which are not made OF toothbrushes, but with a needle-thing that looks kinda like a toothbrush. Great little place, I would totally recommend it. How awesomely fun would it be to come to Mathews for a summer and take a class here in between visiting the shops/restaurants and going to the beach?!

As it is a daycare and diapers are changed frequently, there's no unpleasant smells or that icky look or feel to the establishment. You can tell cleanliness and sanitation is taken seriously. The teachers were excited to have a new student coming to learn and play with them. I felt happy and comfortable bringing my little one here to Wise. They keep the children busy with learning and playing and you can see your child's day through updates directly from their teacher! I had a tour before enrolling and an owner stepped out onto the lot after I was parked for a few minutes and asked me if I needed help with anything and to confirm that I was a parent actually visiting the care center. I felt that this made my decision to move my little one here to Wise all the better. This is a private lot, so there should only be traffic from parents and family members actually visiting the center. I was able to see the owner and staff had a genuine concern for the safety of our children and parents that attend the center. Anyone not familiar with how terrible people can be to innocent children may not understand, but as a parent, I was extremely grateful. I too would be suspicious and wary of anyone waiting in the parking lot of a DAYCARE CENTER for a long time. Take time to visit the center for yourself and see the safety, the cleanliness, the love of the staff and happiness of the children. It's good to read reviews, but take it from a parent that actually has a child enrolled here, not a random Uber driver in the parking lot. Stephen was kind and friendly, making sure I understood everything they were finding and what they planned do it, all while making sure I didn't feel talked down to. They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement. I highly recommend reaching out to them and hope you get Stephen as your guy if you ever have plumbing issues.

The classes and event offered here are amazing, I just really wish there was something. Similar in Norfolk. It took me an hour to get to this location from the VA Beach Oceana area.

The teachers and administration have given above and beyond to provided support and meet the educational needs of the times. I cannot recommend this school highly enough!
