Don't let Kelly cut your hair. The others are fine, but I told the dude what I wanted and it was like he didn't even listen and gave me the only haircut he knows how to do and it was a bad fade. First time visiting this morning. We were greeted by Terry who asked if we needed help. I explained that we were looking for someone to cut my five year old son's hair. I showed him a picture of his haircut from the last barber. Terry immediately recognized what needed to be done. Terry was very good with my son and did a fantastic job making sure that his hair was just right. I am very happy that we have found a barber here in Kingwood. We will definitely return. read more

I first visited about 2 months ago (since I've never really found a good haircut in Kingwood I thought I'd try a barber). I met Nathan and Naomi who were friendly and have been working there for a long time. I didn't have to wait to get my haircut and I didn't have to use any electronic sign in like most of the other places (Sports-clips, Super-clips, etc) I just sat in the chair and asked for what I wanted and it turned out better then most of the haircuts I've ever had (in my opinion) I also like that they're a small business that's been in Kingwood a long time and plan to stay for longer. Old school straight edge razor for the neck... with warm shaving cream to top it off. I've never waited more than 5 minutes.... there's always been at least 3 barbers on duty whenever I've gone in. Sports on the TV in front of you .... the only thing missing to make this a 5 star cut is them handing you a beer when you walk in the door.... though they do let you grab some bubble gum out of the kids bucket on the way out the door ;) read more

Completely screwed up my beard days before engagement photos at Minute Maid and cost me a deposit to reschedule. They gave me $28 back out of the $43 I spent there. The guy Shanderick or something like that who did it thought it was funny when I walked in to get my money back. He also said he knew he messed it up. The haircut was decent but do NOT go there for your beard. He also cut me in 5 places with the straight razor. One star because I can't put zero. read more

I did not have a good experience here. The lady that cut my hair did a half way job on it. It was obvious she didn't want to be there and showed it. She didn't do anything I asked. I asked for a taper on the sides and she looked at me like I spoke Greek. She just gave me a 3 all the way up and even then it was uneven. It was obvious that she is a product of some junior college cosmetology program. I would rather have gone to SuperCuts (which I absolutely abhor) than go to this place. It's less than average at best and is lacking in both competency and customer service. It is a far far far cry from an old fashioned barber shop. Barbering used to be a real profession however now it's become a lost art form and Kingwood Barbershop 3 is no where near the mark. read more

Absolutely horrible! The woman who attempted to cut my sons hair was so mean to him!!! We ended up walking out. She kept asking and asking what he wanted, he told her, I told her, then she asked again. Not sure what was going on. All I know is she was disrespectful and rude toward him, even with me standing there. All he did was sit in the chair and told her twice that she was PULLING HIS HAIR. Apparently that isn't allowed. Go to one of the other places to get a hair cut. There are too many to choose from for this type of service. read more
