Mai (the owner) has always taken the best care of me. I don't typically get massages for the feel good touch. For me, it is help my back and my tense shoulders. Here I have been able to get the best of both! Mai is so in tune with the body that she can always pinpoint my problem areas without me saying a word. She is so friendly and fun to talk with. I need to talk to focus on something other than the pressure (pain is temporary, relief is worth it!). My fiance also comes here and loves to meet with Mel. Not true a Thai massage first off. But most importantly... They don't properly drape for any type of massage. I get massage regularly and have never had one where I was treated so unprofessionally. The rooms don't have closed doors but instead have sheets draped over them. People can walk in freely and also peek in without you being aware. I normally feel most comfortable wearing underwear during massage however in previous Thai massage the therapist explained it works best nude. Because of the lack of doors and it being my first time I kept mine on. The massage therapist proceeded to take them off abruptly... Which I decided to allow in the hopes that an amazing massage would make up for the awkwardness I was feeling. The massage was OKAY for a traditional deep tissue but was definitely NOT in any way THAI... There was no standing or walking on me. Nor was there any really great stretching that I've experienced in past Thai massage. During all of this I was barely covered.
