the best customer service and very professional and friendly I would recommend anyone use themread more

To be clear, this is the first negative review I have ever written, though I have also posted this…read moreon google. I have had many loans with Security Finance since around 2013 (I believe) which I have never made a late payment on EVER. I got a loan yesterday due to unforeseen circumstance in the guise of a massive vet bill. I have gotten a few loans this year alone, that I have paid off as soon as I got them (when I first called this morning they said it had been 3, then when they called me back once she got the "go ahead" from her supervisor to pay them off without any interest as my promissory note states I am able to do, the number was changed to 4- though I, myself, am unsure the exact number of loans I have gotten in 2019.... it's been a rough one.) In the promissory note, it states that "I can make a whole payment early. If I pay the Amount Financed within 5 days of the date of this Note, you will cancel all Finance Charges" etc. nowhere in the paperwork I have ever gotten in all my years doing business with Security Finance does it state that the number of times that statement is applicable is limited to "1, 5 day payoff within a 6 month period," though that does make sense. When I spoke with Lisa (or Felicia? unsure) this morning she rudely told me that she "has no idea how I have "gotten away" with paying this way for so long because that is not policy." As if I am some sort of criminal for paying my loans off early before I owe more? I understand this is a business, however, I expected more professionalism. A month or so ago, when I got my last loan, I went into the store to pay it off and was mortified by Shaina saying (very loudly with other customers in the store) when I told her I wanted to pay the full balance instead of making a single payment, "Why are you doing this to me!!" Which indicated to me that they make money from the payments (which makes sense, though I have never worked at a place such as this- how I was supposed to know that I was breaking some sort of unspoken code, is beyond me.) After Lisa speaking to her supervisor, the matter was resolved with her telling me I "could pay the balance with no interest but they would NEVER BE DOING BUSINESS WITH ME EVER AGAIN." Which is fine by me because I'd rather pull money from my savings account for any future emergency before I ever give them any more of mine or my family's business.... I wish I had been informed of the (more than understandable) stipulations because again, this is a business and I get it... I'm a considerate person, I would never try to take advantage of any person or institution and would have been fine with paying the allotted interest, had I know and been prepared for that but instead I'm left feeling like a degenerate when I have done nothing wrong.
