However not difficult to do if you treat yourself all the time with cookies made here with the cutest designs! This particular trip, I was getting some lavender for making lavender simple syrup. If this is not known, not all lavender plants are culinary lavender, Milly's sells culinary lavender! It smells so good and fresh. I found them because we got a gift of one of the decaf loose teas which we found to be terrific. The teas all have names and different purposes. I think they are mixed by the two ladies running the place but could be wrong. I picked up some more of the tea we are already familiar with. While I was there they were giving shoppers a sample of another tea. It was very good. I did not buy any today, but they have a nice selection of organic spices available as well. They also have bath salts and various other skin care related products. Credit cards accepted over $5. They have a private parking lot so parking is no issue.

I am continually amazed with the folks that are "herbalists" and yet they enforce CDC/AMA context to their practice or store. Neither of the entities have physical jurisdiction, but it seems they have attained mental jurisdiction. The past will repeat itself, if we aren't aware of what the AMA did to the long history of Naturopathy, Eclectics schools and the book burnings of their work, forced on us by the AMA. I am an herbalist that purchases a lot of herbs and this local business is telling me to take my hunting for herbs and the suggestions for my clients to access this business as a tool in their community, someplace else. The store was neat and clean and the guy behind the desk helped me immediately find what I was looking for, and wasn't pushy or abrasive as I decided to browse afterwards. They sell everything from menorah candles (at least I think they were menorah candles...) to much more unique things (wtf is male garlic?!) Plus, you can get a metric buttload of incense for like $3 in case you're into that sort of thing. I was told it is not their policy to offer refunds unless they make the mistake, adding they were " truly sorry". Needless to say I won't be shopping at The Spice Trader again. Online shoppers beware. UPDATE After a week and six emails back and forth they gave me a refund, saying the order had been returned to them. I don't think I would have received a refund if it hadn't.
