I ordered take-out and went inside today. This is a cute little spot to sit inside and eat, the place is clean. I was taken care of at the counter by the owner, all good vibes. I would bring my family inside for dinner. I noticed some Mexican items on the menu, like tacos. I'm Puerto Rican, I went in to try their Puerto Rican food because there aren't many places close to my home in Depew and once in a while I get a craving for something fried that I stopped making at home for health purposes. This is my second time ordering from Kiosko. I don't know what people are talking about when they say the food was bland. Both times I tried different foods and all the Spanish flavor was there. The only thing I saw that might be bland on the menu was white rice. Pernil isn't cooked with salt, it's cooked with mostly garlic and other seasonings. The flavor of all the items I tried wasn't grandma's cooking but it was flavorful and tasty, I got my fix. I spent $29 today on two beef and cheese pastillio's and a chicken stew with Spanish rice dinner (side salad and three tostones with sauce and dressing included). I grew up in Buffalo and having eaten at various Puerto Rican restaurants throughout the City of Buffalo, I have to say that for the portion size I received, the food was overpriced. Let's be honest, it's probably because of the crappy economy we're in and the outrageous costs of food but normally one dinner can be enough to make two adults full and have some left over. The pastillios were yummy but also too small for $4.50 plus the extra cost for cheese, I think was .75 cents on GrubHub. For that price, I need something to rave about to make me come back. If it's going to be small, at least fill it with more meat. Yelp doesn't let me pick a half star but my rating is a 3.5. A 4 only because it's the only place nearby serving this food so that I don't have to drive into the City of Buffalo. I'd love to see more people patroning this restaurant. Not sure it's in the best location for that but I certainly wish them all the best. I think one of those wood signs out by the curb offering a lunch special might bring in more customers, everyone is looking for a good deal. read more

I was greeted upon walking in by a gentleman at the counter he was Very polite and friendly. Looking over the dining area it was clean, tidy and well organized. I placed an order for the lunch combo and the food was cooked quite quickly which was a surprise. I opted for one beef and one chicken with the rice. Beef was a touch on the bland side, it definitely could have used more seasoning. The chicken though was fantastic, it was juicy and had a good amount of flavor, the rice was the same. Moist and flavorful, definitely was quite delicious. I'm planning to return sometime soon to try some more offerings. read more

we came in 15 minutes before close by mistake but they served us and offered us to dine in anyways!!! Out of respect we sat outside and ordered to go. The service was so friendly, and I'm thankful because I must sound really silly asking ignorant questions about their food. This place came recommended to me. Let me first say my rating of 3 stars is mainly because I'm very familiar with this cuisine and can cook almost of all of what's on the menu. So with that being said the carne asada was really good. Great flavor. Rice with gandules and pastelillos were good, however lacking some salt. The pernil was good also needed more salt. Food was cold, but with all of that, I'd definitely go back when I don't feel like cooking Spanish food. Happy to support my people's businesses. We did take out. Also got a Beef burrito for dinner which was good as well. Not as stuffed as I was hoping for, but that's fine. I've kinda had this odd addiction to WSB during this whole pandemic. I decided to try Kiosko Latino last weekend. Ordered the chicken stew plate and roast pork plate which comes with yellow rice, beans, side salad, and tostones which are fried plantains. My meat was tender and juicy so that was a big plus. Everything on the place complemented each other well. The only thing I didn't care for was the tostones as they were too dry. I wouldn't say portions are huge but you get a good amount for the price. read more

The pastellilos. I crave them. So flaky, great flavour, perfect amount of grease and cheese. Good mouth feel. Haven't been by on a Friday yet to try the shrimp ones though. Yellow rice was decent, didn't like the pigeon peas and rice. Grilled cheese has an insane decadent amount of cheese-fantastic cheese pull. Fabulous taco al pastor. Churros w/ chocolate were delicious, perfect amount of bitter to sweet. read more

We came here because they were part of the Buffalo Without Borders International Institute Buffalo meals and my boyfriend loved the chicken they served and needed to have it again! We got here right when they were opening, they are currently only doing take out, so we ended up ordering, taking a walk in the neighborhood, and then bringing it down to the waterfront and enjoying at a picnic table, it was the perfect unplanned, plan. They have a very large menu, with some menu items only being featured certain days. We really enjoyed our food, but I was confused about how I couldn't hear it cooking when we were waiting. We enjoyed the mofongo, which I don't think I've ever had. We also had chicken and other stuff, but I can't remember right now, I should have done my review sooner! I ordered the Cola Champagne which tasted like bubble gum! Note... Google maps will take you close to it, but not right there, so keep looking, it's basically right near a parking lot and it's on the corner and it's glass with a not very noticable sign. We stopped in for take out, and waited in the dining room. It was clean, plenty of room, small tables and a few booths. You order at the window and sit where you like, they bring out your food. We had Gordita's, one chicken, one steak. Mild flavors, lots of seasoned rice, tasted good, very filling. No alcoholic beverages available. We want to go back and try something else. I'm fairly astonished at these good reviews. We had been dying to try this place bdcause the menu looks awesome but we were so disappointed!!!! Basically almost every item left us disappointed. The nachos literally had the premade gas station cheese. The LARGE bowls were minuscule... they were literally in the smallest takeout container you can provide. The tacos were terrible. They were dry, they had no meat and the sides it was supposed to come with were missing. I thought the pastellitos were good but that was about it. I found this place on line today and was so excited that they are near the Southtowns! My husband was off today and ran over and he brought home relleno de papa, empanadas de beef and rice and gandules with pork. OMG this was all so delicious!!! Many times restaurants don't cook with authentic flavors as they always try and Americanize the dishes but they do!! The pork had such a great garlic flavor and I could taste the mojo! Even the side salad was special as it had cilantro! Yummy and I can't wait to get it again and try other dishes! 10/10 great job!! read more

Inside the West Side Bazaar, in a tight little corner stands this Latino culinary masterpiece... If you have a deep endearing love for sazon chicken, melt in your mouth pastelitos, taco soup and the best flan that you've ever had in your entire life RUN TO THIS PLACE! The sazon baked chicken is a chicken leg quarter perfectly seasoned, and moist and juicy. You'll lick your fingers its so good. Pastelitos in chicken must be the same sazon chicken inside a delicate crisp shell. A bit greasy, but that's to be expected with very good pastelitos. Theres also beef pastelitos and just take my word for it, they're just as good! The taco soup is a delicious chicken broth with beans, corn, and tortilla chip strips, salsa and sour cream. The cumin really stands out but wow! It's so refreshing. Lastly, if you go for nothing else, please try the flan. This isnt no normal baked custard with a sweet sticky sauce. This is the texture of a smooth, yet heavy New York style cheesecake, with a luscious burnt sugar caramel with a maraschino cherry on top. I love flan, I've tried it many many places, I've even made one that was absolutely delicious, but this flan deserves a FLAN OF ALL FLANS AWARD! read more

This is the best place for both Puerto Rican and Mexican food. All the Puerto Rican places in the WNY area have terrible customer service (I'm Puerto Rican and I can say that, lol) and the food at those places is typically subpar. Not at Kiosko Latino. So far I've had their rice and pork and pastelillos and it's all the best I've ever had. On the Mexican side of the menu, the "El Gordo" Burrito and their chicken quesadillas are worth every penny. Super nice people and super tasty food. Probably one of the only places I'd ever order Puerto Rican food at because I myself make it and if I'm ordering out it better be as good as what I can cook at home (or better). We ordered two pastelillos, tostones, papas rellenas, arroz con gandules and a Cuban Sandwich. Ordered delivery through skip the dishes earlier this week. Absolutely amazing food. Like mouth wateringly good. We got two different kinds of burritos, two kinds of pastelillos, nachos, a Cuban sandwich, and tostones. The nacho chips are HOMEMADE. I REPEAT, homemade chips. Everything tasted so fresh. Prices were great. I think my burrito weighed 2 pounds. The sauce that came with the tostones will change your life. This place will change your life. I haven't heard about this place yet but I ordered takeout from them today to satiate my burrito craving. I was impressed with the variety they have on the menu. I ordered the veggie burrito which was delicious, but I do wish they offered plain rice as an option instead of the Mexican rice. It was different than other places because it came with spinach and corn on it and in my opinion, the more veggies the better! My only real complaint was thst I ordered salsa on the burritos but they put in on the side and not in the burrito. All in all, it was a great experience. Wowww the burritos are huge and super filling. Imagine if chipotle was authentic Mexican food. The pork and steak are both very flavorful and juicy. Burritos come with guac and sour cream included! The tacos are decent, not amazing but serviceable for a couple bucks. And definitely get a big glass of horchata!!! You won't regret it read more
