Dr. Peris has been my doctor for over 16 years, and I trust him implicitly. He is incredibly…read moreprofessional, knowledgeable, and truly knows what he is doing. It took time for him to learn my history and understand my specific needs, but it was absolutely worth it. I never feel like I have to explain everything from the beginning because he takes the time to listen, understand my concerns, and put the pieces together to give me a clear picture of what I need. I am incredibly grateful to have had him as my doctor for so many years.

I've never written a review like this, but I feel an obligation to warn others…read more I was referred here by my PCP and was initially hopeful, but the intake process was one of the most traumatizing and unethical I've ever encountered in any medical setting, let alone psychiatry. The new patient packet is not fillable and contains dozens of deeply invasive, triggering, and inappropriately personal questions, including unnecessary trauma disclosures, gynecological information, and even targeted screening for borderline personality disorder before any relationship or assessment has occurred. For someone with schizoaffective disorder, addiction history, and PTSD, this was retraumatizing and made me feel like I was being filtered, not welcomed. To make things worse, their staff (especially Dee) was rude, passive-aggressive, and unhelpful. They refused to clarify the form or even respond to multiple calls and emails until the day before the form was due. I was left scrambling under emotional distress with zero support. The form also contains alarming disclaimers about substance use, threatening drug testing and care termination, with no mention of trauma-informed addiction treatment or ADA protections. When I voiced my concerns, I was completely ignored. No follow-up, no compassion, no attempt to understand the impact this had on me as a new patient asking for help. At best, this practice is outdated. At worst, it's discriminatory, ableist, and dangerously dismissive of complex mental health needs. If you are neurodivergent, have trauma, substance history, or are sensitive to psychiatric misdiagnosis, avoid this office. I canceled my appointment, and I'm glad I did.

I elected to stop seeing her after running into some family issues and the passing of my brother in early 2019. I started seeing a new doctor (a real doctor, not a PA), I needed my medical records sent over before my appointment. I called to get the forms and they neglected to tell me that they charge $25 for a copy of my records. I sent the email with the completed forms on Friday. The office assistant emailed me Monday to advise that I needed to correct the a fax number and check of "written" on the form. I sent it right back to her filled out properly. I get an email 30 minutes ago from her asking whether or not I just needed my medication records sent over or do I need the progress notes and psych testing as well and if I need anything additional to check it off on the form. Then she tells me, after knowing that I needed this submitted by the 29th to the new clinic, that there is a $25 medical records fee. I'm guessing the new clinic didn't actually need them as there wasn't any mention of it at my appointment. Based on how difficult it was being a patient 2 yrs ago, I really shouldn't be surprised that I've run into 2 issues already just for a simple transfer of documents to another office.

After every class I have brought home SO many helpful take tips that I can implement pretty much immediately! The relationship talk helped me relate better to my husband (like no more drive-by conversations), and the organization talk that I just went to last month has totally simplified and streamlined my home and office (as I glance at my standing file I made, thanks to her suggestion-which means I am no longer buried in paper). She also slipped in some tips to help us keep the fire alive in our marriages and I've implemented those already too, like the business meeting date and the at-home date night (kids go to bed early and we get some quality time without them). Such simple tips and really have made SUCH a difference in my life and relationships. Her wealth of knowledge is amazing and you can tell she loves teaching and sharing this information with others. She really is different than any other coach I have met- she is so relatable and really understands who she is talking to, so she can help best. Jenny's spectacular!
