They were not giving her the services that she need it. After I came to the principal and brought it to his attention. That's when they decided to take action. And you're constantly mocking my child. Because she doesn't get her work done fast enough as the other. Children They have to understand is a child with a learning disability. She has a IEP they are there to help her. Not to make fun of her and make her feel less than what she is already struggling in class. I do not recommend Bronx. Arts Middle School, it's one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I'm currently looking for a new school to transfer my child into where they can give her the help she needs to move forward and succeed.

Teachers are fine patient but high turnover rate low pay large work loads etc. But an issue the school has is mean girl behavior, bullying not being stopped and kids who defend themselves getting in trouble. My daughter receives services at the school which helped. Im a single mom so its a lot with dogs anxieties ptsd so sometimes my daughter miss days at school. She was at a total 33 missed my sisters kindly helped out then she missed another 1 day and cps was called and now that got me upset as a Black mother with stress anxieties that they went there knowing they were in contact with my sisters. On top pf the sub par education, school food, bullying of my daughter and other students and no diverse teachers all white or non Black dont send your kids here. The principal is nasty and everyone i meet says she has bad vibes. Calling cps was their 1st mistake because now ill make their lives a living hell.
