The office is bright, serenely decorated, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in and felt very pampered and well taken care of. This was the first time my daughter tried the IV Therapy and they explained the whole process and the benefits of IV Vitamin Infusions. This was not my first time getting the infusion so I knew what to expect. Dr. Banfield easily got us set up which is amazing considering both my daughter and I are notorious for being challenging to successfully find a vein at the first go. We were very comfortable and relaxed during our session and even took advantage of getting additional saline to get extra hydrated for only $10 extra (it costs significantly more than that where I live). After being set up, Dr.Banfield gave us some privacy to relax and rejuvenate, checking in on us often to ensure we were ok. When we were done checking out and paying was very easy and quick. My daughter works full-time and goes to law school at night and not even 5mins after we left she told me how amazing and energized she felt and that she's convinced that this is something that she needs to do as part of her self-care...I couldn't agree more! The whole experience was professional, inviting/friendly, and custom-tailored. The cost of the services were the most affordable compared to other places I researched and there were no hidden fees or trying to upsell us any additional services or products (which I greatly appreciate). Dr. Banfield and her staff made us feel like we we knew them for years and really made the whole time fun and full of laughter and joy. This was the best mother-daughter day ever! She is very intelligent, friendly, caring and takes time with her patients. She looked at all my prior medical history and made a plan for futher testing. She is a doctor that I fully trust with managing my health care. I really hit the 'Jack Pot ' when I saw she was accepting new patients. Christiana Care Primary Care is very fortunate to have Dr. Olates for their staff of doctors. As a retired nurse, I was surprised that she was also another one of my doctors who called with the results of the tests she had ordered. This is rare in the medical field these days. I find that you can wait days ,weeks or no call at all for tests that your doctor has ordered. The nurse who called to inform me of the results, did not say all was normal, but actually gave me all the information I asked for. I find that you hear so many complaints about doctors and nurses, but the majority of people seldom show their appreciation for the ones that are really dedicated and compassionate in their field of medicine. The public also needs to remember a doctor, nurse and other members of the health field can only do so much when there is a shortage of health professionals. Times have changed since I was a nurse.

Dr. Jiao is so thorough and I appreciate this more than he knows. Often practices are worried about having the patients and keeping all appointments brief. I feel like he actively listens before he makes an individualized treatment plan. I don't need to see an allergist but my sister referred them to this practice and I'm completely satisfied.

They have been wrong on more than one occasion, which at one point almost caused my child's infection to become meningitis. They love to say everything is a virus! All the providers here are terrible, we have tried all of them, one worse than the next. I once was asked why I was checking my child's temperature when they were sleeping as if it was the provider's choice. Obviously it was because their temperature seemed very high and thank goodness, because I rushed to the hospital and the bacterial infection that they called a virus was almost deadly. Very inexperienced practitioners. Oh and god forbid your child is sick and nervous about being at the dr in general because they will go ahead, look you in the eye and tell you they have autism after seeing them for 5 minutes. Nope, it's not possible my child is deathly ill and nervous and is not acting like themselves. God forbid you question their expertise, they will retaliate and go as far as typing up a 2 page briefing of a visit that is completely in their favor, full of lies and things that were never said to protect themselves, the office, their creditability and their career without any awareness that they are committing a crime and exhibiting unprofessional conduct! And of course all the providers including Melissa Dean, will back each other up, even though it will be clear that one made a mistake. Their newest provider (Stacion Gibbs) used to work at a nursing home and wants to wave her power wand because that's what she's used to with the elderly. Stay away from these incompetent shoemakers. It is absolutely atrocious and horrendous that these people are allowed to treat children. Proceed with caution. A much-needed complaint to the medical board is in order.
