I figured they weren't taking new patients and just wanted to find out if they had a system, waiting list or recommendations for patients looking to land with them. The person who answered was not just rude but aggressively dismissive as if I interrupted her day and disturbed her and 7:35am in the morning m. I called early so that I'd have a bit of time to ask the questions. I know Dr. Fletcher to be a GREAT doctor however office staff commands the office experience before you ever get to the doc!! Thank you but no thank you!! I truly was hopeful as a healthcare professional who also sees patients daily. I am appalled and hurt.

Patient confidentially?, I had one done and yes glad I DID NOT LISTEN TO DR. & waited 2 more years( be dead waiting for what the dr think is right.)other issues you have to go there 3 times for same issue before they take it seriously. Then medications they prescribes YOU NEED TO READ MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS, case in point eve prescribing 2 a day one in morning and one in evening when really your supposed to take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. So I finally had my fill with this practice and send a letter in the portal that we always communicate through, stating I had enough with the lack of unprofessionalism this practice and I'll be finding a new dr. This weekend. Once again eve shows how out of touch with her patients & sends a certified letter that I'm guessing states she's not going be my de anymore. SAD IT TOOK EVE 6 YEARS TO FINALLY BE ON THE SAME PAGE. Now they sent me a $10 charge for a certified letter that's saying the same thing as I sent them in their own portal!! Remember your health is your responsability, and never put it in an other persons hands cause they are here for the money not you!! I could go on on how they screw up prescriptions, X-rays on wrong shoulder, etc., if you thinking about this practice look further then here. Unless you want to be your own dr. But paying them. Really this practice was only good at writing prescriptions but then they can't get them to correct pharmacy or prescribes the correct dosage. I'm just getting old and putup with this crappy service way too long. My health gotten worse going to this practice but my prescription load had quadrupl. When I started going to this practice I told my PA about my heartburn and that I'm a soda whore. Hear reply is here's a prescription for heartburn medicine. Nothing on trying to fix the problem such as stop your intake of high fructose corn syrup. once again your responsibility is finding a good Dr. and this isn't the place to search for one.

I called and asked if the physiciam recommended to me was accepting new patients and was told yes. After taking down all my insurance information, etc. I was told the earliest appointment available was NINE MONTHS FROM NOW!! Clearly this was a waste of my time. Why would I be told the doctor was accepting new patients, but that I couldn't see them for at least nine months? This'll is not the first bad experience I've had with Bayhealth regarding unacceptable appointment wait times. My recommendation is to avoid this provider as it seems to be very poorly managed, even if the doctors are great. What good is having great doctors if you can't get an appointment to see them?

The office procedure should, but apparently does not have an "on call" procedure. This pushes appointments 6-9 months out. It's only going to get worse with new housing popping up in this area. Top management needs to do better for patient care!
