I get up early in the morning to make sure we get a spot every time registration opens up. The curriculum is so rich. It is thoughtful, calming, and I can see my son's eyes light up with wonder with every new activity. We've been in class with Miss Jenny and Miss Monica and they are the BEST! Miss Jenny has taught me several parenting tricks like how to sing to my child through transitions, diaper changes, and more. The owners are also organized, responsive, and wonderful communicators. We did try the infant massage class and while my little guy didn't sit still in that class...we took those skills home and actually still use the same massage technique at bedtime. My son looks forward to it. If you have to choose one activity for your child, I'd highly recommend musicology. I wish all parents had access!

I had taken lessons as a kid for no more than 3 years, then never touched a piano again for 30+ years, until I had my own kids and we bought a piano for them. then I had to start learning how to play again on my own. Many years later, I decided I needed help and signed up with Dr Cohen. She quickly spotted my bad habits/techniques and we worked on correcting them. She also gave me some new and challenging pieces to work on. I have enjoy the new music as well and Dr Cohen's abilities and teaching/coaching style. As final proof the lessons are working, my girlfriend/partner says after just a few lessons that she already notices an improvement in my playing. Can't argue with that endorsement. :)

Celia not only has these qualities, but her bubbly and positive demeanor are all encouraging for students to keep at their lessons (and practice). Her availability for lessons is accommodating to all types of schedules, including working parents and she is very easy to communicate with. the process of learning the piano is sometimes frustrating but Celia goes out of her way to encourage and lift you up so you don't get too down on yourself. The improvement can be seen with each new lesson. I can't recommend her more for lessons, especially these days when things are so negative. She is a bright light! ;)
