Avoid at all costs. She takes weeks to respond and will not answer all of your questions directly. The reason she is avoiding you and not answering you directly is she is not doing anything and sitting on your case. Did absolutely nothing in three months to move my case forward despite having all the necessary paperwork for from me for months. After I fired her she produced documents "she had been working on" and tried to charge me for them after weekend. When she already knew she was fired. During my consult with my new lawyer they discovered Becker had made a glaring administrative error in accepting something from the opposing counsel without the necessary prerequisite being completed which would have potentially put me at a disadvantage. When I first retained Becker she bragged about considering being a judge for the recently filled seat when she can't even get a basic administrative procedure completed correctly. I hired a new lawyer and the difference was night and day. I got a response to any inquiry with 24 hours, usually earlier. When I submitted paperwork it was processed immediately no matter how much documentation it took no more than a few days to complete and my new lawyers legal competence was vastly superior to Beckers. If you want your case to sit stagnant, not get your questions answered in a timely matter or at all for that matter and want to be at a decided disadvantage in your legal proceedings hire Becker. If you want a favorable outcome hire a diligent and competent lawyer. Avoid Becker at all costs! It should be noted that her home office reeks of the pungent aroma of what I suspect is cat urine. So glad I hired a new and capable lawyer, my outcome was very favorable and I am sure that would have not been the case with Becker's representation. read more
