My car got towed in the middle of the night about 2 miles to their shop. The tow fine was almost…read more$300. I already felt like over $100 a mile was steep. However, Steve's towing had my car for a week a half. The hours they posted were wrong and were closed on many days they said they would be open. The after hours number they had left was disconnected. Finally, the day before I was supposed to go home they weren't open despite it being noon on a Monday. We finally got a hold of them and met up the next day. They ultimately charged us for every single day the car was there - 800 DOLLARS. Despite having come to the shop 5 times and showing them our attempts to make contact with them, the owner hung up on the phone and insisted on $800 cash. It's bad business and they're making money by not coming to work.
