Since beginning quarterly treatments with FinishLine, we have not seen much more than a few stinkbugs (notoriously difficult to treat for) and a couple of ladybugs in the upstairs, and really only during their respective mating cycles. Their field technicians are always extremely courteous and friendly, and always very mindful of where our pets are during the service. They always take time both to ask and answer questions related to the treatment and our experience with their service. It is very comforting to know that the technicians actually live in the surrounding community and are not just phoning it in-- they are literally your neighbors here in Roxboro. Most of the scheduling is done over text message when it's time for the treatment, which is incredibly convenient for as busy I am, and whenever I've needed them to to come out on-call, they have always been extremely prompt and thorough. Quarterly costs are comparable, if not better than that in most other towns, and given that they will come re-treat for free any time you experience higher pest activity, I consider that a remarkable value. Payments are easily made via their online web portal, so the entire process of dealing with FinishLine is incredibly seamless. There is absolutely zero incentive for me to write this review, beside the fact that I saw their current rating on Google and I know that the current score is not at all reflective of the value and peace of mind we've experienced in our 3 years of working with FinishLine.

I…read morecontacted Bulwark after other exterminators either turned their noses up to driving to Hillsborough or wanted a year-long service contract commitment before they'd lift a finger to help. It was a Friday and Bulwark didn't have an immediate opening to come out but, a few hours later, they called to say that someone could come out on Monday. That was great, since I'm allergic to yellow jacket stings! Erik arrived in the service window and I could tell he also dreaded this atypical hive removal. Yet he still suited up and went at the problem with determination. Not only did he kill a WHOLE LOT of angry hornets, he bagged up the hose bits so that any stragglers couldn't come after me and took the nastiest part of the hive away in his truck (probably to interrogate the survivors). Afterward Erik gave me a careful report of what he did and warned us about dead-but-still-stingable bugs in the yard. I am very happy (and relieved) that I got a professional in Erik.

Received different quotes from the person who called and a different person via this messaging app which is a very large difference range of $50-$80; as a result of that leaving a three star rating until I get clarification. First treatment was good, Robert was very patient in explaining various treatment options and how it works. The yard was sprayed for mosquitoes and I was informed it's due to rain, if I need them to return they will without additional charges. Overall I'm pleased so far and will have to wait to see if the mosquito treatment is a success.

He found no termite activity and said the stair damage was from wood rot/water damage. I really appreciate the time he spent inspecting the house and explaining what he found, especially since he didn't charge anything for the inspection. What really impressed me was that he didn't try to push me into buying a treatment or maintenance program. He gave me some options for preventative treatment, if I so desired, but didn't push me to have anything done. Just said to let him know if later I decided I was interested in doing something. Highly recommend.

He inspected the room in question and determined that it wasn't bedbugs (an expensive problem to get rid of) but that the problem was baby deer ticks. That was bad but could have been much worse. The lady that answered the phone wouldnt let me talk to a specialist, she just kept asking me if I wanted someone to come and treat the house! Its very complex whats going on at my brothers house. He has infestations of earwigs, several species of aunts, one of which is a colonization of imported red fire ants. I believe its all stemming from the giant ponderosa pines lining his property that are sick. She said they only exterminate inside the house. They dont do trees, Id have to get a landscaper! I told her that I had a forestry specialist coming to advise about the trees and that I was calling Orkin to address the infestations of the various species of ants, earwigs and several small dead snakes ive found on sidewalks in past couple days. that the insects were a result of the sick trees and I needed to talk to a pest specialist about the infestations. she said they dont do trees, that she could send someone out to treat the house!! Grrrr! I told her I needed to speak to a specialist that could understand what im dealing with and she said she could send one out to treat house! I told her that by just trying to sales pitch me and not letting me talk to someone that knows what they are talking about lost a possible good steady customer! Then I hung up. my brother has had a steady exterminator coming in here for years and the guy did not do anything for all these infestations! Never even mentioned any of these issues or noticed or remedied even the earwigs that are all through his house! Im not about to bring another exterminator in for just more of the same! which is just taking my brothers money and doing absolutely nothing!
