We were a group of 10 college friends and spouses in town to celebrate an anniversary. We went out for the afternoon on a 55' Azimut flybridge sport yacht and spent the afternoon cruising the beautiful waters around Miami and Miami Beach. Captain Carl was a seasoned veteran and took all the right steps to make this a wonderful day for our group. The ship also included a steward who took care of serving food and drinks and seeing to it that everyone was comfortable. We were in excellent hands with this crew! All the upfront arrangements were quick and easy and and everything came through exactly as promised. I definitely recommend Deanne, Captain Carl and crew and The Charter Agency. This was my second outing with them. I was a guest the first time and was excited about coming back to book my own cruise. I will happily use them again. Thanks Deanne!

We had a bachelor party of 8 people and he suggested chartering two 4-person fishing vessels and having an open seas fishing competition. Payment and booking were handled quickly and professionally. He informed me that the boats can be catered, or we could provide our own food/beer. He still provided water and soda. Once the group split up we got right to it. Unfortunately one of the boats had a mechanical problem and had to come back to the dock where we quickly switched to another boat. While this is mildly frustrating, there the boat crew handled it well and apologized profusely. Once on the water, the crews on both boats gave solid lessons on what types of lines we were using, how deep the casting lines went, and advice on how to best secure a catch. The entire crew also offered interesting tidbits about the types/temperature/depth of waters that we were fishing in. Since we were all novice fisherman, the crew was very patient. All of the boats were clean and the inside area was air-conditioned and spacious enough for 4-5 people. The groom to be was very happy about the experience and Captain Matt and the rest of the crew were very fun to work with. I highly recommend this as a regular or bachelor party activity (be sure to take Dramamine the night before as the seas gets rough)

I found PPB on Instagram and booked a surprise boat day with them for my best friends bachelorette trip. I spoke to Capt. Robert before the trip, he was very patient and answered my many questions about the boat options / destinations / what to expect etc. I appreciated the communication and ultimately that was my deciding factor in booking PPB. When our boat day arrived, meeting the captains at the dock was easy, they provided directions for where to park + where to meet them. The boat was clean, they had music playing for us (and we could play our own!), they provided ice, water, a very large cooler, and even a water float for us to enjoy! As a group of girls we felt very comfortable and safe with Robert and Ozzy. We docked at two different islands, took in the gorgeous miami views, and enjoyed snacks and drinks on the boat (you can BYOB & food). I will for sure be booking again in the future!

We had our two boys with us (9&11) and they both made sure they were involved and that they caught their fair share of fish. They both worked very hard to make sure we had a great experience. They were knowledgeable about the area and where to find the fish. They were talkative and made sure that the boys learned things as we went through the day about how they knew where to find fish, things about boating, the area and the fish. They had a cooler stocked with ice for us to put our food and drinks in. This was helpful since we were out there for so long. Ben was on point with what needed to be done to ensure we had a great experience also. He was all over the boat hooking up lines, bait, watching multiple lines and helping the kids. Captain Himey also was helping when he wasn't navigating the boat. He knew the hot spots to take us so that we had the best chance of catching fish. On the way in he also stopped along the jetty for the kids to catch a few more small fish, he knew they were there and that they would bit quick. It was a great ending to the day. Everyone had a blast. It was well worth the cost. Wish we would have been able to keep the fish but we couldn't. Not doable in a hotel. The captain and Ben were going to make sure it all went to good use. Great experience, HIGHLY recommend.

RUN - CPT HIMEY / BRANDON ARE THIEVES…read more on June 16th, 2023, my family and other friends booked a private fishing trip with Captain Himey, and another employee by the name of Brandon. What seemed harmless at first quickly devolved into an atrocious nightmare to put it the nicest way possible. We were a small group of 6 people, relatively new to fishing, and wanted a nice birthday surprise for my father. We caught 3 LARGE BLACKFIN TUNA(this is important), Brandon a staff member mentioned that it was the biggest blackfin he's seen on this boat. Toward the end of the trip, CPT HIMEY began to scold my dad out loud about his fishing technique. My dad ignored him so that CPT HIMEY's soft shallow crumbling ego wouldn't dissolve into thin air. CPT HIMEY repeated his rude comments for about 10-15 minutes while nobody responded to him. This was a surprise as it's not only incredibly disrespectful, irresponsible, and unprofessional. We paid a lot of money for a private boat and we should at least expect mutual respect. IF you thought this could not get worse, just wait After the most horrific service I've ever had the grueling pain of experiencing CPT HIMEY & BRANDON are on the phone yelling "What the fuck is this tip, i worked my fucking ass off" in front of us. My family was so happy to get off his boat safely. The man is insane and should not be trusted to drive a boat into the ocean. The boat docks and Brandon starts to cut our fish, we specifically requested that nobody cuts the fish about 4-5 times. He slices the fish poorly leaving lots of meat on the bones and filets cut in half. We watch him cut one Tuna, he says he cut the rest of the fish on the boat. HE REPEATS 3 more times that the other tunas are already cut... strange that they were cut separately. We arrive back home (a 2-hour drive away) We open all our bags and notice that we have 2 filets of tuna in a plastic bag. SURPRISE, they stole two of our fish. We send a photo to the owner of the company. HE calls us to tell us that they were unhappy with their tip and then tells us that they actually just forgot to take out our fish, he later explains that we can drive back to them tomorrow and they will cut the fish. Our immediate question was, you mentioned multiple times the fish is already cut, Brandon and CPT HIMEY also mentioned multiple times on the boat that the fish was cut. We were never given a time or location to meet and simply a "come tomorrow" As if they aren't out on the boats all day. We were reminded multiple times that we should've tipped even more, AS IF our tip warrants the theft of our fish. End of the story is that CPT HIMEY & BRANDON, stole our fish, disrespected my family and the children on the boat. It does not feel safe or welcoming and is not cheap at all. STAY AWAY FROM FINWAY FISHING, WASTE OF TIME MONEY AND FISH. We never received our fish back

I found a living social deal for DEA charters and thought it was a good idea. Before I purchased the voucher I called DEA and spoke with Mr. David. He was very friendly and cordial on the phone and convinced me to make the purchase! On the day before my ride I received a reminder text regarding my ride for the following day. When we arrived Mr David greeted us along with his assistant! We were given an introduction and safety run down before we began our sunset ride. We were asked what drinks we would like- wine, beer, and snacks were included in our boat ride. The ride was so beautiful and we given a great tour of the Miami water area. We saw beautiful homes and Mr. David gave us a run down of the area ! The service was amazing and Mr David was so pleasant, friendly, and funny the whole ride --answering all our questions. His Assistant was sooooo friendly as well! She was so nice to my daughter and family and was accommodating to all our needs. Our boat ride was private which made the experience 20 times better! We did the 2 hour sunset ride and this was an amazing way to see Miami. When I go back to miami I will be calling DEA charters again --maybe just me and the hubby-- for a romantic ride.
