It has free parking, and you can just walk down the hill for a bit of respite and look at the ocean. The dock usually has tons of local fishermen and people bring their beach chairs to just relax. Sunrise and sunsets are great to see native bird flocks in the area, and just before the ramp to the dock, the Deering center has restrooms and picnic tables if you're looking for a mountain feel cabin and woods feel to your picnic . The dock is currently closed for renovations, but can't wait to see what's done for the reopening on April 2021!!

Marshall went above and beyond "just" an airboat ride, making a necklace for us out of a river plant, stopping at a private island to allow us to explore, and introducing us to the people and animals that are part of the camp. Marshall was in constant communication leading up to the tour, professional, and accommodating. This excursion should be a must-do for anyone visiting the area.
