I tried finding someone new and went to a chiropractor who had tons of experience and a great reputation on paper. But after a few sessions, it just didn't click. I never felt like she was really dialed into me or what I was dealing with. The appointments felt generic, like I was being run through the same routine as everyone else. After giving it a fair shot, I knew I needed to keep looking. A friend recommended this place, and I'm genuinely grateful he did. From the first visit, the experience was completely different. The facility is great, clean, modern, and welcoming. More importantly, Dr. Josh Pettigrew really listens. He takes the time to understand what's going on, asks thoughtful questions, and actually pays attention to how your body responds. He's helped me tremendously with ongoing shoulder issues and some back problems I'd been dealing with, and the difference has been noticeable. He sent me on my way without ever truly examining me. I left and never went back, seen another doctor who confirmed I have a bulging disc in my back and later discovered I also had a labral tear in my hip. Had he actually cared enough to examine me and be a quality doctor he would've found these things out. Now 7 months later I'm contacted by Julie the billing manager who was unprofessional and rude telling me she needs my private insurance information because my pip is exhausted and they denied the claim, I give it to her and SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I tried calling back several times and she wouldn't answer the phone. I contacted my auto insurance company that confirmed that they never sent a bill until January 15th 2025, I was seen there in July 2024. They made a mistake and now are extremely rude to me like it's my fault or something. They had plenty of time to submit it and get it paid. This place is horrible and super shady. Seek care elsewhere and save yourself from this place.

Damn Outbacks, they are everywhere! After a bit of a "bump" I found myself healing from whiplash & a foot sprain. I knew that I needed some advice on Chiropractic services, so I turned to my Naturopath & friend for a referral. She suggested Dr. Jess Barr Desbrow who practices Chiropractic & Craniosacral therapy, with a little eastern medicine thrown in. I was a little pensive about my first visit. I had never been to a Chiropractor before, but I had heard all of the horror stories. Everyone has a car accident/chiropractor story and they are not usually good ones. Immediately after walking into Dr. Jess's home office I felt at ease. She has a knack of making you feel right at home in her space and she is a smart and confident doctor. She spent about an hour just talking to me about what I was going through. She then asked if I was comfortable with her giving me an adjustment. I was ready to take the leap and have never looked back! She has done such a good job in helping me to recover and understand what my body was going through. She gave me suggestions of exercises to do at home, but never looked at me sideways if I had not completed every single one. Each time that I would return for a new visit (which was 3x / wk for a while) she had great new information for me on my unique issues. She consistently let me know through her actions that she truly cared for my healing and well-being as her patient. Oh yeah, and don't let her tiny little frame mislead you, this chick has some serious power in her little hands (rock climber in the off-season!) Long story short...she helped me heal my aches & pains in 1 month. She did not string me along to bleed the insurance companies dry. She is a hard working doctor with integrity...something to hold onto these days. I would refer anyone that I know to Dr. Jess, anytime. She takes almost all forms of insurance and she is a wonderful doctor to have in your "health corner".

Having been in a couple car accidents since 2005 and living in a few different places, I've been to a LOT of chiropractors before, but none have been as thorough in getting familiar with my body as Dr. Desbrow was at my first visit, and I've never felt such a significant improvement after one visit. She's just as knowledgeable as she is personable, and really made me feel comfortable. I scheduled my visit with her because although I have been seeing another chiropractor that I like, I wasn't 100% comfortable that he had enough experience with pregnant women. After meeting with Dr. Desbrow just this once, I already feel great trust in her to know what techniques are safe and appropriate for pregnant women. I say this not just because of her education and experience in this particular area, but because she also just had a baby herself. Dr. Desbrow used quite a bit of massage techniques that felt wonderful before the actual adjustment. Her adjustments were very gentle, but I immediately felt such a significant improvement that it must have been effective. I especially appreciated her gentleness with my neck area, because cracking there is often pretty unpleasant for me. I hesitate to make this post after just one visit, but I was so very impressed with her that I really wanted to yelp about it. If anything changes on my follow up visits, I will repost or edit this post. In the meantime, I'm already feeling a lot less pain, and I'm looking forward to hopefully continuing to feel better with the help of Dr. Desbrow. I highly recommend her.
