The furniture here is definitely a bit higher end than some of the other antique/consignment stores in the area. I would say that the selection is a little more limited though. I have purchased many items over the years from Kiss it goodbuy. Exceptional quality, ( thats why things are a little Higher). When you stock high end items from high end homes, it shows. We purchased for example a custom one off designer mirror that retailed for $4200. Bought it for less than $600. Bought a $10,000 OW Lee patio set...these are high...look them up. Got it for about $700. This is NOT your average "resale shop" (to Kristina H) When you know what you are looking at, you understand the prices. This place has really cool pieces! Mostly furniture and fixtures. However, the customer service is on the snobby side. No acknowledgement of any kind except when my kiddo picked up a fox tail and asked if we could buy it. Also, the prices are WHOA expensive. I was looking for a side table for my baby nursery, but there's no way I'm paying $120+ for used SMALL side tables. There were custom made reclaimed wood side tables that costed in the thousands too! The fox tail my child wanted was $29, I paid $15 for a brand new one at an animal preserve so I told her we would buy from there again. At least the profit was supporting a cause. I guess it's just the area, maybe they can charge more and people will pay it here. I'm not the one though, I can't justify paying more when it'll just get tore up with kiddos in the house. Walked in looking for a specific item. 2 employees saw us turned their back ......no hello how are you can help you....nothing. Not an acknowledgment that we were in the store. Did the same to every customer that walked in. So, yea terrible customer service. Hope they weren't the owners. I'd be pissed if my employees treated customers like that. read more

They have lots of good stuff at good prices. They have higher quality stuff than comparable places that I have been in. I agree with Mary's review, Kiss It Good Buy feels more like an antique store than a consignment store just because the stuff is nicer not because it is particularly old. I saw a couple things that I really liked and probably would have gotten but you almost have to take the furniture with you when you buy it. They told us that they would hold it for 1 to 2 days. They also have a delivery company that they use. I wasn't quite ready to actually have the furniture delivered and have been looking at places that make it or order it and it takes months to come in so it is good to know that you can just go get it there. They are currently packed with product, everything from art to desks, tables, couches, lamps, chandeliers, really a little of everything. I was impressed and plan on going back to probably get a desk and a few lamps once I am in my new place and have room for it all. read more

A very interesting (and pricey) place. Came through here today on my lunch hour. It is an eclectic mix of interesting finds at prices that seemed very high to me. Most of it looked like estate sale kind of stuff that you could get for much less by going to a few estate sales. Customer service was non-existent for me as I was largely ignored by the staff as I walked through the place. The items here really are quite spectacular. They have everything from jewelry to furniture and great pieces to decorate your house. I found 2 great rings but one of them had no price and the store co-owner didn't have a way to find the price so I couldn't buy it. Made me wonder how they're successful at their business but then again their selection really seems to be of high quality (I think, I'm not trained in these things). Had a bad experience with them after the daughter of the owner told me she could absolutely sell a set of bar stools. Went in a month later to see if they had sold, they hadn't but then they couldn't find them in their shop. They ended up buried in the back of the shop with little or no chance to sell. Finally, a friend of mine told me she wanted them for her new house. Went into their shop to retrieve, and low and behold they sold one bar stool. I was a little miffed that now I was the happy owner of one bar stool. The Mom got snippy, told me in theory the bar stools were actually hers anyway because I didn't come pick them up the day the contract ended. Would definitely avoid this place. BTW, when they do sell something it's up to you to come in and check if they have sold or not. They tell you upfront that they won't be calling you. read more

It is a pretty hard place to go looking for a specific item, although they do usually have a good selection of small furniture pieces, tables, chairs, stools, side tables, trunks. I really think it is best to go there knowing your tastes and just seeing what they have they might fit. Usually they have really high quality items. KIGB was so awesome to work with! I put up 4 pieces for sale and 3 of them sold super quick! The last piece that didn't sell was an old entertainment center that is too small for the new and big tv's. I've read the reviews, most very good and a few negative (somebody was having a bad day). Chelsea and Nancy have been over the top helpful to us and very sweet. Hey, we now have new friends that call us by name when we come in the store. We bought furniture and they were very flexible allowing me to pick up in 2 trips over a couple days. omg - get ready people .... this will be the time of your life ... so upper scale - the fun part - its so filled with treasures ... its like a treasure hunt. i know that i went thru over and over and saw something i had missed the last 5 rounds in the store. make sure to take note of the price tags ... the large printed $$ amount at the bottom is on receiving .... then if you look at the middle of the price tags ... you will see dates - each month it drops - going on for 3 months. if you see a red tag with a price ... its headed back home!!! took me a while to figure that out. trust me from a designer that has been published over 54 times .... a must see ... yes it is worth the drive .... shop some ... go to one of the cafe's and have lunch or snack ... then go back and look again. a m a z i n g how much moves in and out of there - my advice to you all - if you see it and love it - it probably will not be there for long. pull the trigger and get your hearts desire. dont miss the candles !! or hanging chandeliers either a mom and daughter duo taking over in a 10,000 sq ft building and have transformed the grapevine shopping. thank you for reading this harold read more
