Horrible experience I took the day off work, drove 2 hours, and spent 5 hours at this dealership only to get yelled at by Sean Kisselback himself. My story should be a witness to all who step foot in this dealership. It started Monday the week of Christmas, I found the exact f150 I was looking for. I spoke with salesman Elias, He was easy to talk to and encouraged me to come and look at this truck. I knew it was a far drive, so I planned to take friday off work, the day after Christmas. I drove to the dealership that morning to test drive and hopefully purchase the truck. When I got to the dealership the truck was very dirty, I was surprised because thy had a week to get the truck clean, We already did the majority of the financing over the phone. So they should have been ready for me to purchase this truck. I noticed a few dents on the truck and I asked them to wash it to get a better look. They said they would wash it after I finished the paper work. They actually pulled me away from the truck and tried walking me through the financing process. I decided to take the vehicle for a test drive and while I was driving, I took the truck to a car wash. After the wash I could see that the entire truck was covered in hail damage. I brought the vehicle back to the dealership and asked to speak with the GM. Sean Kisselback. I explained how I felt about the situation, I told him how I spent my entire day here and how it really seemed like they wanted me to sign $30k away on a hail damaged truck. I told him that the way they were pushing me to finish the paperwork before washing the truck made it seem like they knew what they were doing. Thats when he yelled at me to leave his dealership and how he doesn't appreciate the accusation. Essentially flipping the entire situation onto me, and taking no accountability for his dealerships actions. PS I waited 3 hours for them to replace the 4 balled tires from 2019 that were on that truck. I also Noticed the taillight was broken and leaking water. I asked them If they could replace it at a discounted rate and Sean had refused saying it wouldnt cause any issues. Every person I talked to at this dealership was shady. The salesman, the lady in finance, Sean the GM, even the Service manage. I asked several time to get the vehicle washed. They declined my every request. Please do not support this business. Bought a new 2022 F-150. when washing truck found that roof seals were damaged during fabrication. Identified Sep 2022, and just found out (Apr 2023) that Ford will do nothing (after constantly contacting them with never a response). This adversely affects any possible resale. I will never recommend this dealer. So much for the fee they charge for vehicle inspection prior to turnover. Also be very careful concerning the poor quality coming out of Ford factories. Ford sent an OTA update to my truck that caused issues with the backup camera button. A TSB had been issued explaining a reinstall of a couple modules would correct the problem. When I made the appointment with Kisselback I informed them of this. When I arrived I was told I would have to pay for the repair, that was caused by Ford. What an amazing experience! My truck had been totaled (aluminum truck + 120lbs deer * velocity = airbag deployment) and I was heavily on the hunt for another truck for over 3 weeks. I tried dealerships in Jacksonville, Fruitland, Orlando, Tampa, Chiefland and Gainesville. None of them were willing to deal like the folks at Kisselback. Ray was my sales guy and he was super professional and straightforward. Communication (text, email, and phone) was highly effective and the purchase process was so smooth it'd make those car vending machine folks blush. They truly didn't try to up sell on any BS like other places do. When I said "No thanks" to something I was listened to and we keep driving on. Speaking of, being 2.5hrs from the dealership and conflicting schedules I ended up buying the truck online (first time doing that) and it was delivered to me in less than 48hrs at no additional charge. Again, corporate dealerships eat your heart out. I don't think you will go in blind as you're looking at Yelp reviews. That said, do your research on what you want, what the NADA values are, be highly familiar with the car buying process (pay attention to itemized costs on the buyers sheet) and give Ray and the goof folks at Kisselback a call. Every time there was a complaint they did NOTHING. I told them I didn't feel safe in driving a brand new car and I had to threaten to drive it through the showroom windows. Still looked at the car and said nothing was wrong mean while it would decelerate,stall,or not be able to take off with any speed at all without warning. After complaining so much was sent to another dealership and told they could not help. The other dealership Mullinx Ford kept it for four days and found that it had a faulty part. Purchased a 2016 F-150 here. The sales team was efficient and new more about the truck than other dealers. Trade in price was also very good after taking my old GMC to competing dealers. I would recommend buying here IF you want a Ford. Service department is absolutely terrible. Don't answer phone calls and take forever to complete things. They basically act like they are doing you a favor to write up a ticket and service the vehicle. It makes me regret buying a Ford. Probably the last Ford I'll own due to terrible customer service. We have been loyal Kisselback Ford service center customers for years. Today I call to get my Explorer in for loose side pillars on the windshield. The fee used to be $75.00 for fee to have them do any diagnostic, which is reasonable. I was informed today the fee has doubled to $149 and that is in addition to any repair costs and labor fees. We won't be using Kisselback again. Especially given the fact that Ford's products have gone down hill in the last 8 years and most of their vehicles have multiple recalls and issues. We own a 2015 Ford Edge and 2016 Ford Explorer and have nothing but issues which is why $149 is ridiculous for a diagnostic. read more

Went here to get an oil change and tire rotation. Told the attendant that the wheel lock tool was in the cup holder. After it was "finished" I picked it up and drove home. Checked and the tires were not rotated. Note on the bill said "couldn't find the wheel lock"?!??Dirty fingerprints on the seat and dash. Several days after the oil change I noticed oil on my garage floor. Looked under my van and the oil pan drain plug had never been tightened and I was able to unscrew it with my hands! Being that my in-laws recently purchased 2 new vehicles here, I figured I would give them my business. I was looking for a very specific truck (supercab stx) and was shown 3. I was given a final price, which was written on the sales sheet for the truck. I was told by the salesman that the sales manager was not in and that I should come back in the morning ( don't know his name, but he was a short older man and made a point to tell me his son was a local police officer several times). At which point I came back the next day only to be greeted my the same sales manager that was in his office the day before. He then came back with a number 2k more than what I was quoted and said "oh he must've been mistaken on the price." I told him I was willing to pay the original amount and the sales manager made a point to loudly say he wasn't giving me a discount (while looking around at the other salesmen). I purchased a ford explorer XL back in Sept. 2015 for the 2016 model. I now have 40,000 miles on the vehicle and kept all appointments up to date. The vehicle came with an auto start. When I attempted to use the auto start, it didn't work. I admit I waited a couple of years to take it back. However when I did take it back I needed the main key for the vehicle ( I guess I was using what would be the secondary key). In any event it turns the main key didn't work, which means it never worked. The service dept. said I needed a new key at a cost of 250.00. I told them I never used the key which means the key was inoperable from the beginning. The kicker is the service dept. had to program the secondary key in order to get the remote start working, 149.00. On top of that my original warrantee expired, but I had purchased an extended warranty when I first bought the car. The warranty did not cover anything to do with the key(s). So to recap, purchased a vehicle 2015, driven less that 6,000 miles per year. Remote start never worked, main key never worked, charged 149.00 to have secondary key programmed to the remote start, suggested I pay 250.00 to have main key programmed in order to use it not just for the remote start, but in general read more

If I could give this place a negative star review, I would. First, made an appointment, took 3 weeks to get because they only have one diesel mechanic. Drop it off on the day of appointment at 710 am. No one calls me with an update. I call the service department at 3:00pm to inquire on my vehicle. Was told they still haven't called in all the parts to the insurance company for approval, nor have any parts been ordered. Service person chuckled and said can we keep it another day...I said yes. Next day comes around....again, no call from them! I call to find out what's going on. Apparently the mechanic is have a problem finding electrical issue. My husband calls service manager asking what the heck is going on. Clearly Dave, "the manager " doesn't have a clue either. Found out the service department was lying to me. I filled out a credit application and went about my day. Got a call in a few hours with an approval and all the numbers exactly where I expected them to be. My visit to Kisselback Ford is a mistake I will not make again. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle stating no prior accidents. The salesman, Ray and the manager were nice. (the only reason why I gave this facility any stars). The next day I noticed the fender was not aligned on the car due to some type of accident that occurred previously. Luckily they fixed the fender no charge. A few days later I started hearing a concerning noice coming from the undercarriage. I took the car to Kisselback for service and they assured me that the car was completely up to date. I was not satisfied with their answer so I received a second opinion at Mullinax Ford. They found a leak in the water pump and had to replace a sway bar and an additional part. Obviously, the employees at Kisselback do not thoroughly examine their cars before placing them on the sales floor. Will never step foot in there again. read more

Service department is HORRIBLE!! Do NOT take your vehicle here unless you want to deal with rude, lazy, and incompetent staff. I brought my car in for an oil change and a simple diagnostic and a couple of days later I looked under the hood and there was oil EVERYWHERE. I took it to a mechanic in Orlando and they advised that the person who changed my oil did not put the oil cap back on and there was oil all over my engine. Forget the fact that that I had an appointment for the oil change that was scheduled to take about 2-3 hours (dropped it off first thing when they opened on a Saturday), they never called me to tell me my car was ready, so when I called them at 3:30, they told me that they weren't able to get to it today but if I would just leave it overnight they would get to it as soon as possible. When I asked about the diagnostic, that had been done, and a new battery was recommended. When asked how much a new battery would cost, the employer told me the price and I told him (politely) not to worry about the battery because I could probably buy one cheaper at Wal-Mart. He replied "oh, well, good for you". WHAT?! No thanks, never again. Beware. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DEALER OR BUY A FORD. Their service department is atrocious. They do a completely incompetent job and do not back up their work. The engine on my 2016 Fusion blew after only 20K miles. Kisselback claimed the original oil filter was still on the car. That part is the fault of a 3rd party mechanic. My car, however, had been in their dealership for a check engine light 5 months earlier where they also claimed to have conducted a "multi-point" inspection of the vehicle prior to servicing the engine. Had they ACTUALLY done that they would have seen the original oil filter was still on the car then before the engine blew. Instead they said that they don't check the oil filter during their "multi-point" inspection even when a car is brought in for an engine issue. Seems like a basic check that SHOULD be conducted to me, especially when you claim to have completed a "multi-point" inspection. They refused to honor the warranty or even absorb partial responsibility for the failure in their thoroughness. They are dishonest and full of excuses. If I could give negative stars I would.
