There's tons of seating outside and it's spread out so you're not intruded on by other parties. The menu was in German, but we used a translate app to help. I had the dumpling and mushroom dish. It was tasty but fairly heavy, especially the dumpling. Seemed to be a heavy cream sauce with a large dense potato dumpling. Everyone else was happy with their food as well. Rating 4 stars as it's a solid restaurant, but nothing over the top.

There was a wedding party in the adjacent barn like building and it was very festive and fun. The restaurant itself is beautiful, wood detailing and perfect traditonal decor. It's cozy, comfortable, and inviting. The service and kitchen are very efficient and our meals arrived in good time. I had the schweinhaxen and it was excellent, along with a plump well prepared dumpling.The cabbage I had to accompany it was delicious. I would come back here again and again if it wasn't so far from home. This is a must do if in the area, or even worth a trip to it as a destination.
