We happened to look up places for lunch in the area and found this one so we decided to give it a…read morego. It's a Bavarian restaurant located in a hotel and it was a really nice place for a meal. Menu is extensive with a wide variety of Bavarian and alpine cuisine. A good mix of dishes small and big portions. We had the obatzda to start along with a Wurstsalat and they were both really well made. For main I had the tafelspitz and it was delicious. Came with fried potatoes, creamed spinach and an apple horseradish sauce. I really enjoyed my meal and all the plates went back empty. Service is good and overall reasonable considering the area it's in. I would happily come back here again.

So moist and perfect. The waiter was also so nice and patient with us. None of us speak German so he sat with us and explained each thing on the menu and gave suggestions when we still didn't know what to get. I would go all the way back to Reit Im Winkl just to eat here again.
