We could not be happier with the decision to use Kitchen and Bath Builders for our remodel. We had them remodel our kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room, and laundry room. This was a huge project and we got several bids. KBB was the least expensive bid and gave us the most confidence that they would do the job right. From the beginning the communication was excellent - they used a great app to handle all the documents, pictures, messages and scheduling so we always knew what to expect and where were in the process. They were super helpful during the design process while still letting us drive the major decisions. I've had plenty of experiences with contractors in the past and not all of them have gone smoothly. Given the scope of this project, it was expected that we would eventually run into some unforeseen issues. When we did KBB was there to make it right every time. They stood behind their work and did everything possible to make sure we were happy with the outcome. This is the real measure of quality that seems hard to find. It took many years of saving before we could afford to remodel our kitchen. It was the last upgrade to our home, and I wanted it to be perfect. Over the years, I cut out pictures and articles from HGTV Magazine and this spring, we were finally ready to take the plunge. Because K & BB had done such a beautiful job on our bathroom remodel, I didn't even bother calling anyone else for bids. Bear in mind, I worked as a purchasing agent for a major corporation for nearly 22 years, handling all their contracts. I was that confident, and now that the job is completed, I know that my decision was well placed. First of all, Tony is the consumate project manager. He pays attention to every little detail and often works right alongside his crew. Who, by the way, were incredibly versatile and skilled, pleasant, polite, and respectful. This time around, I also to hired their highly skilled designer. She made sure that everything I selected would work in the space and her advice was invaluable. We didn't have to buy anything but the appliances; she took care of everything for us. We sat down together and they asked what my dream kitchen would look like. I brought out my overstuffed folder and my phone with all the pictures from Pinterest: pale green glass backsplash, an arch for the entry from the dining room, wainscoting on one wall, granite countertop that had little flakes of sparkly stuff and no veins, a curve on the outside of the counter, an apron style farmhouse sink, solutions for the cupboards that were useless, top cupboards with windows, lights under the cupboards, new doors for the pantry. Recommendations for the range, range hood, and refrigerator. They literally said yes to everything. The result is that I really do have the kitchen I dreamed of all those years I lived in dingy apartments with nothing. I literally stand in the middle of my kitchen and just gaze at how beautiful it is. I pull out my phone and show people my kitchen as if they were baby pictures. The cost was what we expected. The work was completed ahead of schedule. They cleaned up after themselves every day and erected a series of curtains to keep all the dust inside the work area. You can stop wasting your time by looking at other contractors and gambling on someone else who might save you a few bucks. It will be the best decision you ever made. Go for it. read more

Quality/Workmanship The quality of materials and workmanship were all top-notch. The countertop, cabinets, tile, and fixtures were all premium quality. The workmanship is also top quality. We have used the bathrooms for a few days without any issues. The grout lines are sharp and well defined. The cabinets and fixtures all function properly. The end product was just like the renderings we received at the beginning of the project. Customer Service From start to finish, the customer service was very good. The KBB team was responsive and communicated regularly with us. The design process was a quick, painless experience. The KBB design philosophy was to present complimentary materials at our home. This allowed us to see the samples in our own bathroom. Like any remodeling project, there were some unforeseen circumstances. In our case, the cabinet supplier shipped the incorrect color. The KBB team offered to paint the cabinets and did a great job. KBB kept the project moving and prevented the project from being delayed excessively. Price KBB offers a very competitive price for the level of service and workmanship they provide. We received bids from another firm, and KBB's came in lower. read more
