After a lot of research I selected Kitchen King to do my remodel. I asked 3 contractors to submit a design and Kitchen King blew the other two away. The layout was creative and unique (dishwasher in corner for example - amazing) and the functionality is superb. We selected Eudora Cabinets from Kith cabinetry - they are based in Alabama. It was important to me to buy American made. So many remodelers were pushing Chinese cabinets, and I just felt (1) the quality wasn't there, and (2) I worried enforcing a warranty from China, if I had problems, could be a challenge. I am thrilled with my Kith Cabinets. They are solid, and stunning. I look forward to enjoying them for many years to come. The installer Brian was excellent. He is a slow and methodical but he does the right job. Be patient, you'll be living with this kitchen for a long time it's worth the wait to have it installed correctly. The other subcontractors (plumber electricians were also great. We installed a reverse osmosis water filtration system as well as under cabinet lighting and shadow box lighting. We are thrilled with the results. We worked with Ideal Tile in Toms River to select the tile for the kitchen. Lucy at Ideal was wonderful and really helped with the tile selections to work with our countertop and cabinetry colors. Terry the owner was a pleasure to work with. The office staff at Kitchen King was responsive and helpful. The entire remodel - start to finish - took about six weeks. Everyone we dealt with was professional courteous and timely. If I could rate this company less than 1 star I would! Worst experience ever! I deeply saddened about the amount of money we spent on these pos cabinets. Our kitchen was gutted right when Covid hit and the lm Terry wanted to tell me that he didn't have anyone to install the kitchen! Finally got the two hoodlums to come and install my kitchen, they bad mouthed Terry and his staff. They tried to get me to hire them for other work that needed done in my house. They didn't finish the job properly, wrong items were given to us. And now a year and half later the cabinets are chipping and paint it bubbling and coming off! I highly recommend doing your research on kitchen companies and turn your back on this one! read more

Just recent my husband moved the refrigerator from its place because it was making noise and found out. Funny that you decide to respond to this after all this time. Yes we had to settle for items we did not want, not a funny comment at all considering your team didn't install the kitchen island with an elevated snack bar. So you didn't have to redo the whole island, you came up with this product to elevate the counter on these stainless steel posts. Hated it then and hated it now. Your crew messed up, rather than do the right thing and fix it you used our poorly written contract and then denied that we even ordered an elevated snack bar! Had to get my attorney involved to get you to correct many issues that were done improperly. Wait my favorite is when you told me the scratch in the cabinet door was because the cabinets are "custom" and that happens. When in fact your worker didn't properly dimple the cabinet when drilling a hole for the knob and the the drill bit ran across the cabinet. Your tech tried to fill the gouge in with filler. NICE!!! My fault was I didn't properly qualify your proposal at the time. If I did you would have been ripping everything out. I'm sure if your business has been around for 48 years you perform good work somewhere, but you did not for me! read more

I have to say that I have always been pleased with the products and service of Kitchen King, Toms River. I have cabinets that are over 20 years old and when I needed replacement parts and a range hood made to match, they made the buying and installing process problem free. I think that they have gained the title of WORST company I have ever had the misfortune to have ever had the misfortune to have had dealings with. Paid in full (after extras had been added, apparently door handles and faucets are not "standard kitchen fittings") and we never got our work finished. Let's see, leaking pipes, dangerous electrical wiring, "top-of-the-range" appliances with no warranty! ! An apsolute disaster stay away for both your sanity and financial health. This is one of the worst run businesses I've run across all in almost 20 years at the shore. They did a kitchen remodel for us three years ago and we found the counter cracked last year. Made multiple calls over 6 months to get someone out to look at the damage and let us know if it was covered or what we could do to fix it. Terry finally came out and looked, told me he'd have someone come out to look at fixing, and we're still waiting. Spoke with Michelle in early July she told me the repairman would be out the following week, took the day off of work to await them. No visit, no phone call, no nothing. They had no problem cashing a series of large checks when it benefitted them, but when you really need them they're nowhere to be found. I'd be happier if they went out of business, that would at least make sense, but to completely ignore a customer and then ghost them when you finally get an appointment scheduled is unforgivable. Would like any advise in next steps or who is a reliable counter contractor to call as the crack is still there. read more

Just looking at my cabinets, built-ins and mantle from the Kitchen King and thinking how happy I am with the Kitchen King. Our cabinetry worked great through the holiday season for entertaining and for decorations. We worked with Terry and his crew and had a great experience. We researched and visited the cabinet and kitchen designers in our area and immediately after speaking with Agnes at Kitchen King we decided on having our dream kitchen designed by Kitchen King. From the very beginning every detail of the design was addressed to meet our needs and to make our kitchen everything we wished for. The very special feature that we loved was the professional and personal interest that Agnes demonstrated from our first interaction in the design process. Agnes listened to our wishes and was able to visualize and design the kitchen of our dreams. It did not stop there -as everyone knows a complete renovation of a kitchen is very stressful and Agnes was there every step of the way with her suggestions and expertise to guide us. Agnes came to multiple granite places to make sure everything would be perfect in selecting the best counter granite. The knobs and pulls had to coordinate with the cabinets but also my chandeliers. Agnes accompanied me to many shops to make sure my knobs and pulls were perfect. The professionalism from the installers were evident from the very beginning. They always explained what they were doing and the next steps to expect. WeI also want to comment on how professional and caring the owner, Terry has been through our design and installation. Terry always stopped by to make sure we were on schedule and that our needs were being met. Terry knowledge and expertise gave us the confidence and reassurance that our dream kitchen would soon be a reality. We ordered a complete kitchen spending over $22,000 on DuraSupreme Cabinets through the local Dealer Kitchen King. Yes its been a mistake. The mitred corners of the doors are coming apart and the doors are warping. They will not honor their "lifetime" warranty stating there was too much moisture in the wood? What household in the east coast doesn't experience humidity, this is a crime! they said they would sell us replacements at cost?!! Why should I pay again for their poor workmanship. I would not recommend them and would not purchase these inferior cabinets again. A cabinet maker and craftsman identified the problem as manufacturer defects and poorly made cabinets. My wife and I sat down with the owne, in Au­gust 2012 and he de­signed a beau­ti­ful kitchen for our house re­model. Plans were fi­nal­ized in Sep­tem­ber 2012. Due to con­struc­tion de­lays we didn't fully place our or­der un­til mid-March and we were given a de­liv­ery date in the end of May with in­stal­la­tion to com­mence soon af­ter. The in­staller, ar­rived and quickly re­al­ized that the mea­sure­ments were wrong and cab­i­nets needed to be re­ordered and/or ad­justed to fit our ac­tual space. Owner was no­ti­fied and his ex­pla­na­tion to the in­staller was that we moved a win­dow al­ter­ing the plan. Owner was out at our house twice and mea­sured him­self af­ter fi­nal in­stal­la­tion of win­dows and Sheetrock. Noth­ing was changed af­ter his mea­sure­ments. Owner re­turned to our house and re­designed the kitchen with con­stant re­as­sur­ances that I would have the kitchen I wanted, al­though the wet­bar that I wanted couldn't be done with the wine cooler we had or­dered. Mul­ti­ple cab­i­nets needed to be re­ordered and de­liv­ery was once again months away. We or­dered soap­stone coun­ters from an amaz­ing com­pany not af­fil­i­ated with Kitchen King and they in­formed us that our is­land re­quired cor­bels to sup­port the load of the over­hang. They stated that our kitchen de­signer should have known that and in­cluded them. Again, Owner told us that wasn't the case and re­luc­tantly or­dered them. Wait­ing for the cor­bels be de­liv­ered for weeks, we found out that he hadn't ac­tu­ally or­dered them. Again, we were forced to wait, which held up our hard­wood floors from be­ing fin­ished. In Au­gust a rep­re­sen­ta­tive of his busi­ness in­formed us that he said the ap­pli­ances we picked out weren't the same ones in our orig­i­nal de­sign, there­fore he wasn't pro­vid­ing the pan­els for them. The req­ui­si­tion form from Fer­gu­son where we pur­chased our ap­pli­ances was dated Au­gust 2012 and they're the same ones in­stalled in our kitchen now. This rep­re­sen­ta­tive took pity on us and or­dered the pan­els for the sub-zero re­frig­er­a­tor and kitchen aid dish­washer. In­stal­la­tion of the pan­els was sup­posed to be in early Oc­to­ber, but the pan­els or­dered were the in­cor­rect size and dam­aged. The in­staller was told by the owner to in­stall them any­way. The in­staller said he couldn't do that to us and took them back and or­dered a cor­rect set. Fi­nal in­stal­la­tion for the new pan­els was set for early No­vem­ber, but the fourth panel was miss­ing from the or­der. At least we were able to open the re­frig­er­a­tor and freezer. To­day, the in­staller put the fi­nal panel on the re­frig­er­a­tor and fixed a drawer that we were al­ready hav­ing prob­lems with. We're still miss­ing valances for three places in the kitchen, but we're tired of deal­ing with this com­pany. The only bright spot in this en­tire ex­pe­ri­ence were the peo­ple Kitchen King em­ploys who were very un­der­stand­ing and very pro­fes­sional.
