I walked into my vacation home after the winter to find sheetrock damage from a leaking 30+ year old roof (2 to 3 layers). There was a home show that day in Toms River so my wife and i went to the show. We saw at least 8 companies regarding roofing that afternoon and my phone never stopped ringing from all the vendors calling. First company came in at a very very high price, by a high-pressure salesman that gave a good for 1 year price but kept lowering it 4 times reducing in 20 minutes by 25% only if I signed that day before he left. I told him I don't do business like that and to hold the price for 2 weeks while I did my research and get other quotes, he told me he could not do that so after 3 hours i said no thanks and threw him out. Now the best part I met with Scott from All county Exteriors, no high-pressure sales tactics here just straight forward explanations on my roof conditions, ventilation issues because of being a Cape style house, we have angles walls, knee walls and flat roofs and steep and low slope roof lines. Scott explained the company is a Presidential Club award by GAF which only 2% in the country qualify for. Their price was very reasonable, almost 50% of the first company's original quote. I also received a quote from another company based on just a satellite image which was a little lower, but they never came out to inspect the job. all county was chosen and were fantastic. Rain had delayed the start of the job but since my roof was considered a leaker it was promised within 1-2 weeks and 1-2 days to do the job. the foreman called me on a Sunday night to introduce himself and ask if I had any questions. The crew, material and dumpster trailer would be there Monday morning between 7:00am and 8:00am. They were there 7:00 sharp. A 6 man crew, dumpster trailer, delivery and materials. The crew knew exactly what had to be done and got to work immediately. The foreman Mike Glock was great with communications from start to finish to follow up. The crew worked from 7:00am until 8:45pm cleaning up in the dark. Job was done in 1 day. Around 8:00 am the next morning they came to remove the dumpster and reswept the property with the magnets for nails. That evening the crew came back to do another clean up and inspection cleaning any marks on the siding, deck, railings and another sweep for nail and replacing a screen that got torn. i also delt with Dana, Staci and Lisa in the office all were professional. The foreman Mike was outstanding, and the crew was super hard workers. They also needed to pull off some siding and they replaced that before leaving. We wanted to get a new roof put on our 80 year old brick colonial home. Selecting a roofing company isn't an easy task when looking for quality and value. Diane in the office, sales team for roof & gutters (whom applied no pressure to close the deal), the competent team of roofers, craftsman (who literally cut and molded new copper for existing fixture replacement) and clean-up crew were consistent, reliable and kind. They even managed to put our weather vain back up! Saving us time and money to hire someone else to do this task. This is an honest company. Not everything was flawless throughout the process, because let's face it, nothing can go perfect especially with home projects! Our house was hit by a tornado and we needed a new roof, siding, Gutters and everything else on the outside replaced. We were told they didn't use subcontractors that was a lie. We were told a supervisor would be on site everyday that was a lie. Unless you count being at my house for 30 minutes on the first and second day of a 2 week project. Was called a Maniac and a liar by the supervisor that never showed up. They tore of my old siding and didn't replace rotted plywood like they said they would. Replaced a window in a rotted frame. Replaced all roof decking and tried to blame a dip in the roof on something that was done 6 years ago. According to them they don't cut corners and they are perfect. Everything I said that they did wrong I was just lying. The workers were taking naps on my front porch. I had to follow them around to make sure they were not taking short cuts. I had to hold back my last payment just to get them to come out and fix some of the issues I had with the job. And when they came out the supervisor wanted to argue with me about his lies in front of the other supervisor. So in the end I was so aggravated I was just happy to be done with them. I didn't get what I paid for but I guess it's my fault for going with All County Exterior. Don't make the same mistake I did. They sub contracted all the work except for the roof. For a unique repair job like this one, things didn't go quite so smoothly, but ended up being completed to our complete satisfaction. If you do have a small job/repair, what I learned from this experience is that it's essential to capture a clear description of the job--diagrams,of the big actions and details of finish, and to have projected start and finish dates. We are very happy with our choice to use All County Exteriors for our window and siding installation. The main reason we chose them was because they replace existing windows as if they are new construction, peeling back siding in order to provide proper installation. Not sure what goes on at this place but it's not professional and buyer beware if your project is more than just a quick and easy new roof. I have a feeling this is another dysfunctional 2nd or 3rd generation family business ran by a an entitled passive aggressive covert narcissist that hides behind his entitled and unprofessional staff to avoid accountability when things go awry. In all of my years I've never heard an owner of a company throw his own staff under the bus - and go so far as to blame most of the problems on his own brother - who apparently hasn't worked a full day "since his wife left him decades ago...and screws everything up". Shocking to hear from a grown man - let alone a supposed owner of the business. Anyway - they started fumbling the ball as soon as they received the deposit on our $40,000 project. The project was a big deal for us as it's not everyday you have new windows and siding installed on your home. They rarely called us back in a timely fashion and they just showed up at our property one early morning with 5 trucks and a big dumpster without notifying us in advance. Unfortunately for us, we were hosting our daughter's graduation party for 150 people that weekend so we had no choice but to ask them to leave and return after the party. I guess the owner took it personally and it took them another 6 weeks to return to our house. The company is extremely unprofessional! The have salesmen (Kurt) that will tell you what you want to hear, assuring you they can complete a new roof in 2 days. Then the day of the install the foreman (Mike) comes and knocks on my door to introduce himself and states that he will be there "most of the week" to get the job done. That to me implies well beyond 2 days, as was negotiated and agreed to in the contract. I immediately called the company and spoke to the supposed owner Vince (or Vinnie possibly) who stated to me that he could have easily sent out two crews and had my roof done in 8 hours if I wanted. I knew at this point they were just blowing smoke up my you know what. The company completely failed to meet the contract in my opinion as they were here on a Thursday and Friday and did not complete the job. I still have there trailer sitting in my driveway. I was told they were going to come back on Saturday to complete the cleanup of my property and remove the trailer. There is a lot of nails and pieces of garbage surrounding my house. I called them, and they aren't coming back to do the cleanup, they're just coming to get the trailer. They stated that because it is raining they will be back on Monday to finish the cleanup. I find this unacceptable. The rain is no excuse to not be on the ground removing the hazards from my property as I have pets and a child that could be injured from the nails throughout the property. They should not have bullshitted me from the start about their capability of being able to do a new roof in 2 DAYS, they are a company that clearly lacks that ability to completely meet the contract. The problem is they didn't expect to be held to the contract as it was agreed to. Very unprofessional company that thinks they can do what they want once they have your money. Took way longer than expected... they did the siding and pulled off half of the exterior of the house... but didn't mention it to me. Only found out when I went to the attic and only saw tyvek wrap instead of the exterior.... That was real nice. Wouldn't recommend. I have been using All-County for 20 years. At first, they were very good. If you had a problem they would fix it. Not anymore since the last people in charge, the company really went downhill. I purchased 6 replacement windows from them 5 years ago. They were guaranteed for life. recently, one of the windows seals went bad and streaks appeared between the glass. I called and have gotten the run around ever since. I had to go to the manufacturer fill out the paperwork on-line up load photos which were hard to take. and that didn't work. I have two windows in my porch that was built by them 15 years ago (by the last owners) also have broken seals. They told me the guarantee was up after 15 years. I would have to replace them my self. My experience with All County Exteriors was terrible. After they put a roof on my house I had to spend the next 8 months fixing the damage they did to my house. Luckily I know how to do drywall repair or it would have cost me thousands of dollars. I had hundreds of nails pops in my walls and and about a quarter of my drywall seems had to be repaired. I had to rip out the old drywall tape, re tape, spackle it, sand, prime and paint. I had to do this for every room in my house. I had to clear out each room, move everything while I worked, put tarps and plastic down on the carpet and work 1 or 2 rooms at a time. The damage was caused when the crew they sub-contracted to do the work were stringing out the bundles of shingles on the roof. They were throwing these 60 pound shingle bundles like they were sacks of potatoes. I was really surprised that they were doing this knowing I was inside. I came out a couple of times but I don't Spanish enough to explain to them they were making my sensors fall out of my ceiling and rocking the house. It sounded like bombs going off. The foreman told me he had to leave for another job and left these sub contractor unsupervised and this is how the damage occurred. When you throw 60 pound bundles of shingles like this the whole house shakes and the concussion it creates actually moves your drywall and then cracks the drywall tape. My dad was a builder for awhile and used to yell at us when we were kids for running in the kitchen telling us "We were going to raise the nails through the floor!" I know just what he meant now. I had a roof put on in 2003 in another house and I had none of this damage. I called and complained about this and a number of other issues. My brand new roof had curled up shingles, areas where the shingles were all bubbled up, exposed nails, dirty hand prints left on my siding and tar all over the siding. They had to send somebody out to clean up the mess and they sent another sub contractor out to do repairs to the brand new roof where it wasn't done correctly the first time. I guess most people don't inspect their work but I did and I'm glad I did. When they told us they were done my girl friend and I went out on the back deck and started sweeping up some of the mess they left behind. One of the guys went and got a leaf blower and then just blew all the debris off the deck out into my back yard. That was basically how they did everything, whatever was easiest for them and didn't care about the mess they left behind. I really regret ever using them. I got several quotes and I used them even though they were $1000 more expensive than 2 other companies. I only went with them because of their lifetime warranty. They really did a poor job and didn't want to admit they did anything wrong. I had the owner and a foreman come out and look at the damage. They tried to use every excuse as to how it wasn't their fault. I was told they had to work that fast to make the job more profitable. I told him had the guys not thrown the bundles of shingles the way they did and maybe taken an extra 10 minutes not lobbing them this would have been avoided. You can't just trash somebody's house...well, I guess you can. In the end they offered my $500 for the repairs. Did I mention it took me 8 months to fix every room in my house from the damage they did? I would have taken them to court but they have a clause in their contract that they aren't responsible for any nail pops or drywall cracks. That's very convenient when they are going to cause both of them. I ended up getting $600 but that's still an insult. My house is 24 years old but was in very good condition. It's not like a wanted to give it a make over. I had painted it about 5 years ago and was in no way looking for to repainting it. And I certainly was looking forward to ripping out all the drywall tape and redoing that or fixing hundreds of nails pops. It was a very frustrating 8 months to say the least and I'm glad I'm getting this off my chest. I'm not just here to bash them and expose them for the work they do. I have seen other bad reviews out there. If anyone out there is in the same situation as me and reads this and would like to get a class action lawsuit against All County Exteriors I am very interested. This is a very professional company and our experience was 5 Star right from the first phone call. We got some quotes for a replacement roof. I saw their sign on a neighbors yard and called. I had a call back from a salesman quickly. He (Ed) set an appointment, arrived on time, and presented us with quote after measuring. The price was competitive so we hired them. Very professional and no bull! This company knows how to run a job. They called in advance to schedule the work, showed up on time, and immediate started work. Derek was our job foreman and he was fabulous. He came to introduce himself, checked in several times during the two day install, then came over to inspect the job when it was completed. He had the roofers return to change a few things which I didn't notice but he was not happy with. On completion of the job he came again and went over everything with us once more. I live in Howell, New Jersey and hired All County Exteriors to replace the roof of my two story colonial home. Everything about my interaction with All County, from calling for an appointment, through final inspection after the job was completed was positive. My contacts with the office personnel on the phone were always pleasant and professional. Friendly and helpful. Scheduling was flexible and fit my needs. When the representative came to my home...he was extremely knowledgeable, experienced and prepared. He gave me brochures and a folder with samples of the high quality roofing shingles so I could pick whichever I preferred. He answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I asked if I should have an expensive upgrade to my roof venting and he told me I didn't need it. He could have just as easily made the sale and took the profit, but instead he explained why it was not necessary. I appreciate his integrity and honesty. Refreshing. During his calculations, he applied a company discount because it happened to be July. I didn't even know of this when I chose them. The final estimate was very reasonable and I decided then and there to accept it. The job date was set and the crew came early. A small dumpster was placed in my driveway with wood under the wheels to protect the surface. Huge tarps were placed around my house and some were shaped into chutes to direct the debris. My house had two layers of roofing shingles and yet they were removed quickly. The site supervisor introduced himself to me and went over the details. The crew was excellent! They were friendly and pleasant. They worked tirelessly and took great care to protect my property. Their attention to detail and professional experience was obvious and appreciated. It reflects well on the company when I see a large crew of workers who apparently like what they're doing and get along so well with each other. Hours later, they were done. Cleanup was completed quickly and thoroughly. My new roof is beautiful and will last for decades! All County replaced the roof of my home built in 1894. They had to remove two layers of asphalt shingles as well as the original shake shingles. My roof is also very steep. All of the workers were very professional and took great care of the job site. Replaced with all new plywood and new GAF shingles. Well this is long over due from our project in 2018 but it needs to be said to hopefully save another homeowner!! Well where can I start, they did not protect the gutters causing damage to numerous of my new gutters, while replacing a skylight the new skylight was a smaller Size, therefor the nailing flange not only missed any rafters, but also missed the roof sheathing to the point that you could see daylight through the flange nail holes, they removed an old attic fan and left the bare wires touching each other against a truss, if the thermostat would had called for power there would had been a fire possibly destroying my home and killing my family, they destroyed our gazebo while moving it, never reinstalled our fence which my dog was able to escape from (luckily my dog is a good dog and didn't go far) and I am still finding roofing nails throughout my yard. They removed our satellite and threw it out. They then tried telling me that the bare electric was not there responsibility they were only responsible to remove the fan. I asked them if it is common practice to leave their work with live electric unprotected and against NEC code and NFPA 70? Once I showed that I have a background in construction and code they quickly backtracked their statements I also had to personally visit their office and ask for the owner before any repairs were made. Update to my 6/26/17 review. On 6/28, I made a follow-up call re my broken window request. Miracle of miracles! On the 27th, the vendor finally sent All County a replacement! Wow! They asked when I wanted it installed (in sugary sweet tones I hadn't gotten from them to date-my AC1 went up 50 points!-could I believe them?). I said "Tomorrow"..they asked what time..I said after 1 PM and guess what? Someone was available! Wow! No "we can't do that so soon" or "no one" is available-just a "Can we make customer happy?" attitude I'm not used to. "Mike" called 15 minutes before his arrival on the 29th, came on time with window in hand, in and out in 5 minutes; personable and pleasant guy....upon my, of course, somewhat negative comments re my unhappy experience, he advised window had come in at beginning of week--he had processed it from vendor--and he somewhat "verified" one gal was ill and out of work quite awhile..I certainly appreciated his non-confrontational attitude and honesty. Should I believe excuses? You decide. Shouldn't a company with a decent reputation be more focused on keeping "old" customers happy to keep that reputation? I'd think so. I'm just glad job is done and they did do what was guaranteed me. read more

Then I received a letter in the mail that they would be doing work in my neighborhood and will gladly provide me a "free estimate." Will that get lost in the mix, too? After writing my first review, All County returned to make some repairs to the work that was done and remedied some of the water intrusion issues that were plaguing my home. After a few uncomfortable moments with the workers who showed up, and threatened to leave, they got things figured out. They are still very overpriced, as it should not realistically cost close to $20k to put vinyl siding on townhouses that are almost entirely doors and windows. The siding did't blow off int he hurricane so that's a plus, but you can probably shop around for a cheaper outfit who will give a lifetime warranty on a similar product read more

I'm reviewing their work from 2009 because there was no Yelp back then. "Uncle" Leo the used car salesman got me to trust his company All County to do the siding on my house. The house was built in 1920, and had aluminum siding at the time Leo came out. We both knew there would be some issues given the old house once the aluminum was removed. He promised me they would take care of any issues. Of course they didn't. They just tried to cover them up without repairing them. I walked into the bathroom after they were done, and I heard wind blowing. I looked into the wall, and the siding was placed over an area that had no exterior wall. They didn't add plywood or anything. Just put siding over the hole. I kept trying to contact my best buddy during the sales period, Uncle Leo Pezza, who came to my house and met my wife and babies, but he refused to take my calls. This company is garbage, and they swindle people because they were on Extreme Home Makeover. Don't let that fool you. They aren't any good. read more

Recently requested a quote for an addition and garage to den conversion. We used all county in the past for a big siding job that came out beautiful . While the customer service was EXCELLENT and speedy (Diane and Paul) the quote for the job was more than DOUBLE Fair market pricing. The quote for a 11x11 foot addition was $38,850 NOT INCLUDING windows flooring siding paint plumbing lighting or breaking up concrete. We only shopped them because they offer financing for big jobs. .... Slightly predatory if you ask me!! read more

They make promises, but don't return calls. They tell us to call the manufacturer, who also doesn't return calls. Very unhappy with their customer service. They have repaired several times a defective window installed by All County but manufactured by Crystal Windows. All County has helped me to get Crystal Windows to admit the window is defective. But the problem I have with All County is that they do not return phone calls in a timely manner or keep me informed as to the status of my issue. I have been dealing with an installer by the name of Paul who is very difficult to contact. I finally have an appointment for installation of my new window after calling many times!
