Ali was a great listener and developed a vision for the house that fit both our lifestyle and tastes. She introduced us to pieces and patterns beyond those we would have found on our own. For each room, she provided multiple choices for furniture, patterns, rugs, etc.--at various price points and styles--and made sure that we could mix and match the different pieces while maintaining the overall vision for the room. I hate to leave bad reviews particularly for someone we've known for 20 years! But he welched and…read morenever got going with our garage project, had our deposit of course but slow walked the process. We got frustrated and said just do our bathroom. He graciously used our deposit from the garage for the bathroom, which he could have said no. It took FOREVER ie months to begin demo and complete it. We had to write threatening legalese letters. His employees are WONDERFUL and VERY TALENTED. He almost completed it, but he didn't. Still didn't bring our vanity. He put in a cheap "temporary" one. It's 6 months later; didn't finish painting, the mirror is loose, not secure, water spews out of the shower onto floor after each shower and same when using the "temporary" sink that is now permanent. Now we must replace it ourselves. Bathroom looks great though! Fred won't return our calls, txt or emails. It's always been like this with him. He's not trustworthy. I'm SO MAD and DISAPPOINTED! He is a hustler!

But in the end I realized that Chris had it right from the beginning. My living room and dining room space look distinctive and high style. His firm designed and manufactured customized leather love seats for my undersized living room. The love seats are gorgeous and so high quality. They were expensive but worth every single penny. There were some glitches in the project. I felt that the firm could be more transparent about the cost of ordering items through them versus ordering them yourself. It will save time and grief to order through them but it will cost you more money upfront. This cost is totally worth the convenience and, in retrospect, I would have paid it. But for cost conscious clients the firm should be upfront about that additional cost. Overall, I LOVE the design Zoltan executed for my project. I would use the firm again in a heartbeat. If you are looking for design on the cheap, Zoltan is def not for you. For distinctive, high quality design, Zoltan is an amazing partner for your project.
