Let me start by saying the finished product was ok. There were things we asked for and were promised that were never completed. We started off with a 5 star design product. Mariam was incredible. She was very helpful in creating a design that we wanted. She helped to pick out counter tops and provided a 3D design of our new kitchen. Now we just had to wait for the project date to arrive. This is where everything went down hill. Mariam left the company and no one informed us. Emails and phone calls went unreturned. We were told she was out sick. We have an unfriendly dog that we had to find a sitter for. The project started a week late. We paid for a sitter that we didn't need. The workers were fantastic once they started. They were very respectful of our time. They were incredible. Funny thing was that our new project manager could not remember the workers names. Many issues came up during the project and I was called several times to leave my class to come home to try to solve. I am a teacher and luckily have a supportive staff that could cover my classes while I came home. We were talked into changing our ceiling lights into recess lights. We now have three different types of recess lights. But they are so proud to say instead of the 10 we purchased, they added at no cost the 11th light that was needed. During our walk through before the project, we were having a section of our counters removed and replacing it with an island. (Best thing we did) we were not sure the condition of the hard wood floors underneath. Mariam said not to worry. They would take care of the floor. After all the old cabinets were removed and replaced you could see the new ones were an inch shorter and left a visible line all around the kitchen. Since Mariam was not around to verify that she would take care of the floors and it was not stated in the contract, we had a brand new kitchen with lines all around on the floors. We had to get a different contractor to repair the floors. We also wanted a dog bowl area cut into the island. We sent pictures and dimensions of the bowls. This was in the designs. It never happened. During the project, the workers took a week off that we were not made aware of. They claimed they were waiting for the countertops. This may have been true but the communication was awful. Again a week of dog sitter that we did not need. There was painting and wallpapering that could have been done. The last week of their work I had to lock my dog in the basement because I could not find a place to take her since the project went past the time we were told. The final product looks amazing. After all the non-communication and errors being corrected, we are pleased. The new project manager again had me leave school to meet at the house so he could give us some gifts. They were pre-opened Bluetooth speakers. read more

It has been exactly one year since i completed my cabinet order with USA cabinets and i continue to be thrilled with the look and quality of my new Fabuwood cabinets. I utilized the Rockville, Md Gude Drive store and Selman was my sales associate. He was detail oriented, professional, responsive in person and email and offered helpful suggestions in the ordering process. I appreciated very much the fact that there was a kitchen on display in the store to view with my cabinet style and that I was allowed to take a sample cabinet door with me to assist in selecting paint and countertops. It was a wonderful, seamless ordering experience. When the cabinets arrived, they were carefully packaged and protected and consequently required no returns or reordering. The new look is incredible. When i visited the store again a few days ago Selmen remembered me immediately and once again was friendly and helpful in ordering a paint touch up kit. Placed a semi custom order in February 2021 for dining room wall to wall cabinets. I know my way around construction and remodeling projects. This was one of 5 I undertook this year alone. Was quoted 6-8 weeks at a cost of over $8k. Non refundable, full amount charged to my credit card. On May 17, cabinets finally arrived.... nearly all were damaged in one way or another. Chips, dings, dents, massive paint overspray. Guven and Esra from their Rockville location came to my jobsite twice and took evidentiary photos. Told me they would credit some of my funds back to me. 2 weeks later was forwarded an email from their vendor "Showplace", who indicated the defects appeared to be due to installation, of course. Yet every single ding dent and scratch had been factory painted over. So no credits issued. Guven and Esra say they can't do anything, that it's up to their rep at Showplace. I've never dealt with Showplace, had never heard of them, didn't do business with them, and it certainly wasn't Showplace who charged my freekin card $8k. Then they decided that, yes,, the drawer front paint overspray was sooo bad, they would order replacement for the 2 pieces. On August 14, the drawer fronts appeared. That's 3 months for 2 drawer fronts. We're now in early September and finally got around to replacingthe drawer fronts. Pretty simple, right? Happy finally, you ask? Well, NO! Given the 2 drawer fronts were mismatchung sizes. So let's go all the way back to Gude Drive and deal with these characters again, and get quoted probably another 12 weeks for hopefully 2 new, CORRECT SIZE drawer fronts. Did I mention the incorrect fronts gad significant dings, and holes in them? In an email forwarded to me by Esra, Showplace essentially says, why do you worry? The holes will be on the inside of the drawer and therefore not visible from the outside. I swear to this. I have every email and photo saved for possible litigation. So by this account, it's totally okay to damage the shit out of something, so long as it won't be visible? read more

Where to begin. We went with USA Cabinet after soliciting several bids but there were a couple red flags from the get-go that made me uncomfortable and I wish I had heeded my gut not to go with them. To start - they ask for an obscene amount down, 50%, citing "supply chain issues and demand." That seemed shady to me as we've done reno projects with other contractors and never paid more than 1/3 as a down payment. Second - the vast majority of the reviews I could find for this company were more 2+ years old - and no one reviewed the two people we worked with - Mariam and Vitalie on their experience with them. The problems on our project started right away - their crew didn't bother to protect our wood flooring, which we had no intention of replacing as they were in great condition, causing over $8k in damage - and then they tried to do a series of messy patch jobs on the scratched floors to cover it up. There was horrible communication throughout - too many to name here, but resulting in significant issues including losing 6" of counter and cabinet space for a last minute, USA Cabinet-initiated re-design that they never bothered to explain to us, later claiming it was "reflected in renderings" that were not done to scale. They didn't provide pull-outs in base cabinets as I had requested and negotiated at the contract phase. They unilaterally changed the crown molding design for what we later figured out was b/c they either hadn't measured the space correctly in the first instance and/or were trying to cut corners and avoiding paying for/providing the additional material. In fact, corner cutting is the name of the game for these folks - they installed a glass cabinet with clearly visible exposed screws, installed a misaligned cabinet, damaged our gas cooktop b/c they again didn't bother to cover the surfaces or handle our property appropriately, glued two pieces of trim together in our island instead of installing one legitimate piece in a highly visible area (to save themselves $40) and did such a poor job of installing a marble backsplash that it cost us nearly $5k to have it redone. The crown molding pieces were not fit together properly. Everything was done hastily and extremely sloppily. All the while - hounding us for money. They also play fast and loose with the math - adding a few hundred here, a mysterious grand of additional cost there. Anyway, long way of saying - stay away from these guys, or at least Mariam Davlashelidze and Vitalie Tutunaru. Don't end up a victim like we did. read more

Horrible! I went here with my mom and sister to shop for countertops. We did a whole circle around the store and not once did the sales representative say anything. We understand she was busy assisting a couple but a single hello or some other acknowledgement of our presence would have been nice.
