Having had a previous catastrophic surgery 20 yrs ago by another surgeon, I was frightened. I've been a nurse for 34+ years. The moment he walked in, explained the procedure and I advised him I could not have laparoscopic surgery due to extensive adhesions, he heard me and opted to do the laparotomy surgery. I saw his PA who assisted in surgery & his colleagues, had follow up visits in his office. I cannot say enough at how incredible EVERYONE was. Professional, informative, listened to my concerns and eased my anxiety and my recovery was great. I hope to never need him again but if I, or anyone I know needs surgery, I will choose him. I left my appointment defeated with low self esteem. I'm not allowed to see her again unless I lose 30lbs. She literally yelled at me for shopping at Costco and buying in bulk! Criticizing my pants being too tight and super mean describing after surgery limitations. This lady is over it. Over fat people and over people who don't listen to her advice on limitations.

I was warned about that from the referring doctor. according to the referrer, It was true. One could die, dry up and blow away waiting for the first call back. Well, i am going to cancel the long-awaited visit, and continue my search. my old man always said," treat every customer like that customer was the only customer you have" Just saying.
