We probably would still have her but would not be fair to our cat who wants nothing to do with it. Also noticed her belly growing and getting fatter by the day. After much thought and deliberation we decided it best to find a place that would take a pregnant cat. After spending most of the morning on phone only to find most places already filled to capacity , Flathead Animal shelter said we could bring her there. True lifesavers. We adopted our puppy from Mission Valley Animal Shelter July 25th. We saw him on their website and…read morewent up one weekend to visit him. We were able to claim him and had to wait until he got neutered. Despite having to wait an extra week for him to get fixed due to a vet emergency, the wait was worth it. He's neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots, save for his rabies since he's not old enough yet. However, they did say they will pay for his rabies vaccine when he gets it and they also pay for the registration for his microchip. They have an amazing adoption fee, all above services included, $125. The staff were very nice and communicated with us despite us living 4 hours away. I would recommend this shelter to anyone!

The adoption process was thorough but easy compared to other shelters I've adopted from in the past, and bringing home our little rescue dog was the best decision ever- he fills the house with love and dog hair and we couldn't be happier to have him in our life!
