I'm 30, I grew up on All Eyez on Me, 2001, and Space Boogie: Smoke Odyssey. I've graduated to wu, alchemist, Jedi, statik, etc- but ok I digress... I've heard "callin out names" by kurupt. They play "ether" by nas on the random. "Hit em up" IN HEAVY ROTATION. Lol. I used to spit that whole 2 minute rant at the end at the lunch tables in 8th grade- and yes- they often play it thru to the bitter "My 4-4 make sure all y'all kids don't grow!" Yesterday, I was shocked to hear an incredibly disturbing and threatening ad about deporting immigrants and how they will be deported and "never come back". What an unwelcoming message. My parents are immigrants and I am a first generation American, born and raised in LA. LA is a beautiful city of immigrants. I will no longer be listening to 103.5, unless they remove this offensive and hateful advertisement.
