Invites callers to call to "discuss" or wants to hear what YOU have to say but rarely takes calls bc hes too busy flinging his perspective, repeating it over and over IN DIFFERENT verbiage BUT wants listeners to call YET when they do, IF HE DOES NOT AGREE, he cuts off the caller off mid-sentence, injects AGAIN HIS PERSPECTIVE, wont allow the caller to make their point then says hes "short on time to go to break", hangs up on callers and then... talks for 5 mins on his continued opinion, THOT YOU WERE SHORT ON TIME AND NEEDED TO GO TO BREAK? Hes a horrible, semi-liberal, rude, sensless host....Im done listening....GET RID OF SCOTT FURROW and get someone more like Sontag WHO appreciated decent conversation, respected callers that respected on air courtesies... KKLA is a wonderful Christian Radio station. The topics that are discussed are always of interest…read more The pastors give their sermons and you learn a lot by tuning in. So many people listen I wonder why no reviews. I enjoy it so much. One of the announcers is really funny. His name is David James. He gives so much to the station by praying for people. He has a great sense of humor and loves people. You can really tell. He also fills you in on the news which is so helpfu l. I usually listen in most of my day and in my car. Once your hooked you can't stop! And at 3 o'clock Frank Sontag is on. He's good too. Very informative on what's going on in our world. The topics are always of great interest. People call and give their opinions on the topic. It's hard to put all of this into words. Because words cannot describe how truly blessed these people and their ministries are. And how much it blesses us the listeners. I have been listening since 1995. The very year I accepted Christ. Thanks KKLA for a great Christian Radio Station!

I'm 30, I grew up on All Eyez on Me, 2001, and Space Boogie: Smoke Odyssey. I've graduated to wu, alchemist, Jedi, statik, etc- but ok I digress... I've heard "callin out names" by kurupt. They play "ether" by nas on the random. "Hit em up" IN HEAVY ROTATION. Lol. I used to spit that whole 2 minute rant at the end at the lunch tables in 8th grade- and yes- they often play it thru to the bitter "My 4-4 make sure all y'all kids don't grow!" Some quik/digs free track I've never heard just came on. Right now. This is madness. Thanks kday- I called in and chatted w a young lady around 9am this morn. Aside from the prospect of potentially buying her some coffee, I'd love to know if CiCi the mamasita ever shouted me out! I was workin away:) Just keep it up. 4/5 tracks are just bangers, and the 1/5 are reminiscent slow jams of my lonely college days lol. Yesterday, I was shocked to hear an incredibly disturbing and threatening ad about deporting immigrants and how they will be deported and "never come back". What an unwelcoming message. My parents are immigrants and I am a first generation American, born and raised in LA. LA is a beautiful city of immigrants. I will no longer be listening to 103.5, unless they remove this offensive and hateful advertisement.
