Today was the first time I've been there. They serve hot lunches Mon thru Fri, about 11:15 till 12:30. Suggested donation for lunch is $5. A lot of seniors seem to use this feature of the center. There was to be live music after lunch, but I couldn't stay for that. There are all kinds of classes & activities available. I'll update this as I find out more. read more

The Senior Center is a fun place to play BINGO! I've been several times now on both Thursdays and Saturdays and have had a good time every time. Bingo sessions start at 6pm and go until around 10pm. The buy-ins are low depending on what games you want to play and how many packs you want to handle. The payouts are very good. Basic games are $85 wins but the special games and blackouts are always good amounts - most in the range of $100-$200, $400 all the way up to $1000. There is a snack bar with lots of choices for munchies. Popcorn, nachos, burgers, other asst sandwiches and meals, and pie! As I understand it, most of the bingo workers are volunteers and they do a great job. They are very dedicated people who are always there ready to help and when there is any kind of technical difficulty they resolve it quickly and get back to playing. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a place to play BINGO or just looking for some fun activity to do once in a while with friends to check out the Klamath Basin Senior Center bingo.
