I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at this store, as well as the unresolved issue regarding a refund. I made a purchase of Ruark products which showed as "In Stock" online, only to head in store and the items not there. I was met with rude and unprofessional behaviour when I arrived. After questioning why the item/s weren't available I was told that they would "Prefer to give you a refund". To date, my funds still have not been returned. I am now weighing up my options regarding the way I was treated - I think if you're going to shop online and item/s show as "In Stock" this should mean exactly this. Regardless, this doesn't warrant the poor customer service and lack of transparency. read more

For context, I'm probably an Audio Enthusiast boarding on Audiophile. The preferred format of music, for me, is Vinyl with a the philosophy is to spend as much as I can afford where the diamond brushes the vinyl. That way what is good coming in a fantastic coming out. Also a big Ortofon fanboy. The Ortofon Mono-A and Anna-Diamond are *not* easy to get in the Australian market. I believe this is where Klapp excels; They know who to speak with; they know how to set expectation and they know how to price an item (in the tug-o-war between supplier and client). As for the Mono-A, it stands alone (not because it's mono :)) but so far in the break in period, the Mono-A has brought Mr. Dylan (his early Mono set) into house. The waving flow of his cracking voice and the piercing melody of the harmonic are made real. Dynamics as flawless as I can hear. Next it's the Stones in Mono :) Thanks!!! read more

Bought a JBL extreme speaker which was overpriced by $100 so I spent a total of $399. I went back to the store today after only owning the speaker for 3 days to get a refund for the following reasons: 1. Faulty Bluetooth 2. Volume was nowhere near as loud as it says (we have a 1 year old JBL flip 2 which is louder with better quality). 3. Battery life lasted 3 hours not 15 hours as it says. The returns policy is that we can return the product if it is damaged or faulty, or doesn't have the features which have been advertised on the website. This speaker is not 'the ultimate portable Bluetooth speaker that effortlessly delivers earth-shaking, powerful stereo sound' nor does it have the battery life as advertised. Today when I returned to the store with the speaker I was seen to by SERGIO LATINO who had a terrible attitude and blamed the poor sound on us, claiming that we've been playing the speaker too loud and he told us 'don't tell me how to do my job'. He said all we can give you is a store credit for the hard earned $400 I spent on that speaker even though I don't want anything else in their store. The man's attitude was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional and I strongly recommend anyone who wants to go here not to. It's a waste of time and they know every trick in the book to keep YOUR hard earned money in their pocket. A 1 star rating is way too high for this shambles of a business. read more

Yep, I was sold something that was not as advertised and when I highlighted this got told " how do we know what model it is" " we just sell what the distributor supplies" ??? just unbelievable comments and shocking attitude. People that drop money in this place, find an issue and have to deal with these guys to sort it out just sends shivers through me. Simply go somewhere else. read more
