A great, convenient locale which trades as a computer repair store; a store that buys and sells laptops and is also a high quality and fast Internet Cafe with cheap printing facilities. The rates are fairly cheap; we are talking about $2 for 20 minutes use of the Internet; not unlike paying the same amount for only half the time. And the loyalty system is quite good here as well. Regardless of how long you are on the Internet at any given moment; a minimum of 20 minutes is best to get your money's worth; for every five visits you earn credits to ensure that your sixth visit in using the Internet here is free of charge. Overall great value and prompt, friendly service. The same person is in all the time (he could be the owner) yet he always stops what he is doing at any given moment to look after each and every customer which is good to see; it is fantastic.

Maybe it is because I generally don't buy all that much - all I the software that I use is freely available, and I generally only get hardware when I absolutely need it - that I don't visit many computer shops. This place isn't bad, though the staff are only knowledgeable on the stuff that most people use, so if you come with a question like 'does this work on Linux' there response is - it should. Also, if you are looking for component parts (such as a power supply) then unfortunately you won't find any here. In a way it is a store that deals specifically with computers, and really only stuff that the average user would require. They also tend to be a little more expensive that some of the other store, but at least they do know a little more than your average salesperson at Dick Smiths.

The conversation went like this: Me: Hello. My iPhone is a brick. MKC: What's wrong with it? Me: (Explained what was wrong with it). MKC: Oh. That'll probably be the battery or the cable dock. Me: Can you fix it? MKC: Probably. Give us an hour and $79. 60 minutes later, I was handed back a fully operational, functioning phone. Brilliant. Staff were friendly and straight-talking. I queried the reason for the variation and was happy with their response however as soon as I requested the difference be refunded I have been ignored. I also requested information on their returns policy, the same person asked me for the order number then ignored my response. Summary i ordered and received the product in a reasonable time with minimal fuss. I wont go back because I dont trust their customer service.
