I live in a condominium complex. A few days later, when I drove out of the driveway, I noticed a large oil stain where I was parked. No one else had parked there but me so I knew it was from my car. So we can only assume the pan was not wiped properly and hot oil had dripped onto our asphalt driveway in the location of the oil pan. Why would any shop put their least friendly man at the front desk? Aside from the terrible bed side manner, he refused to tell the mechanic to open my door from the outside handles since the inside ones were broken. He said they'll figure it out. I said every time they do that it breaks it worse and sometimes I have to climb in from another door, so please just let them know. He said OK, but he did not tell them! I spoke to the mechanic who worked on my car and he wasn't told about the handle. I asked about the price increase and he became upset and flustered, compared it to the price of buying chicken... I said I'm not buying chicken though, I just wanted to know why it's 30% higher in less than a year. I went to keep the paper and he snatched it from me, he said that was the work order I get the bill after I pay... which is actually wrong, I should be able to see the bill before I pay, the receipt is after. The whole thing stinks. I spoke with his manager on the phone later that day, he said ok, ok, ok, and nothing besides maybe I am right to go somewhere else... as if I was the problem here. If I didn't appreciate the good work of the actual mechanics I would leave 1 star. But they are fine. It's the boss and his underling who have the ego problems. 3 stars. Would not recommend unless you like cold and rude in your day.

The estimate was astronomical, with repairs on areas not damaged, add-ons for numerous items not affected such as recalibrating a number of sensors, resetting all the airbags, front end alignment, frame straightening -- to name a few (I had grazed a concrete pillar in my underground parking garage, which they knew). i went to Car Fixers based on reviews. Their estimate was just over 1/4 of the other guy's!!! The work done was exceptional. The finish is even smoother than the original Lexus factory finish. I was connected with Emery Stewart, and after sending a photo of the damage and receiving an estimate we agreed on the afternoon of Thursday 27 Nov 2025 to repair the damage. The weather this day turned out to be somewhat appalling, blustery cold with some wet snow mixed in, and I was expecting to have a cancellation call but Emery kept the appointment and kept me appraised of his anticipated arrival time so that I could do other things while waiting. Never having seen a paintless dent repair before I confess to being somewhat amazed by the process. Emery did a fantastic job of repairing the dent without removing or disassembling anything from the vehicle or damaging the paint. I would defy anyone to point out the area where there dent was located. The final cost was as quoted and I am extremely happy with the results and the cost. I definitely recommend this service to anyone with small unsightly dents in their vehicle!

He then quoted me $100 to fix it and when I asked him if he can repair it, his response was "yes, forsure." After I returned home and seen the "repair" I called Nate to let him know that I was not happy with it..I asked for nothing, no reimbursement, absolutely nothing, I just wanted him to know that I felt it was not a successful repair. BUT instead of listening to my concerns, Nate became very belligerent and confrontational, to the point where he invited me to "come and see him in person at his shop." I was tired of expensive oil changes and constant reports of something needing fixed when it didn't. I decided to move on and I'm so glad I chose Rob Clarke Automotive. This place is very very close to my work which has huge advantages. I never have to leave work anymore to get an oil change. I just drop off my car and pick it up as I please. If I drop it off at 8am, they typically have it ready to go by lunch (for an oil change). Stephanie, the girl at the front desk, always knows who I am by the make of my car and she is very reassuring. If there are any concerns she is straight up, but never pushy. She gives great descriptions of what I should expect or hear if something starts to go wrong. She never comes at me with prices and solutions unless I ask for it. I once asked my relative (who is a Master level mechanic) how much something should cost to fix and he was thinking $60 or so. When I got it fixed at Rob Clarke, I was pleasantly surprised when an oil change AND fixing the problem cost about $75. I find the prices here to be very affordable and fair. So far, so good.
