A2Z Restoration - Commercial dust clean up- detail cleaning for a commercial facility

They were efficient, easy to work with and reliable. I worked with Idan, the PM who came by for the original estimate. He was informative, made helpful suggestions and answered all of my questions. I did not get any other bids, so I cannot comment on the value of the price, but they completed the job in a timely manner and no additional costs were incurred following the original bid.

Rat infestation in my garage (never had rats before so didn't know the proper process)…read more I had to dispose of half the items in my garage. Junk removal took care of that job & removed the rat poop. Then I called A2Z to clean everything assuming that's all I'd have to do. Last night I saw a giant rat run across my garage so now I've paid $3500 to hazmat clean the 1/2 my garage but still have a rat infestation. I'm now working with a rat removal service but before A2Z allowed me to hire them & get in contract they should have advised me to be sure to complete the proper step beforehand of ensuring the rat infestation was resolved. Now i'm out $3500 for an unnecessary garage cleaning and still have a rat infestation. As a new homeowner (or any homeowner) I'd assume a good business would make sure I've done the pre work (in this case rat infestation elimination) before accepting the job. That's in my view a shitty thing to have done to me as the client. Really disappointed because they seemed professional throughout the process. So for this reason of not holistically proactively making sure the proper prep was done I cannot rate this business any higher than a 2 star. I'm not angry I am however very disappointed and feel that I've been tricked. I cannot recommend this business.

    Bio 911 - Hoarding cleanup

My Highest Recommendation for Bio 911…read more I had a mold problem caused by a leaking faucet and roof at my Mom's house. The mold remediation company that I was referred to, went ahead and started tearing out drywall before any contract was signed. They also would not answer most of my questions and only sent a single photo of what they found and that was only after I asked them to send me photos a second time. I called Bio 911 and spoke to Kirill, the owner of the company. He told me that he doesn't like to take on jobs that are already being worked on by another company, but he told me that he would be happy to come out to inspect and evaluate my problem. He was incredibly thorough. He checked the drywall where visible mold had been seen, checked a nearby restroom even though no mold had been seen in there, the outside wall of the building adjacent to the affected drywall, and even the walls of an adjacent apartment. He detected moisture inside of the outside wall of the building, which was something that the other company had missed, and he outlined the steps needed to correct the moisture problem and mold issue. Kirill did all this work simply because he likes to help people. He did not charge me a penny. How often can you find someone that does things just to help people? It is super rare and I am giving Bio 911 my highest recommendation as a result.

Initially, I was not looking forward to it because I did not get a terribly friendly/collaborative feeling when Jose first came out; I felt things were a bit stand-offish. In fact, I was immediately thinking of others (or even calling the SERVPro Pleasanton branch). However, when John got involved in the project, things immediately improved -- like a 1000%. For starters, he dove into action immediately, looking for mold (which he found) and moved forward to address the mitigation, while patiently explaining to us the process. The team was fantastic -- Stanley, Oscar, and Jimmy were all very nice, respectful to our family, and most of all just plain good at what they do. They took very good care of our home and the parts of the kitchen we were able to save. We really appreciated everyone's hard work. The key, however, was John. He made smart decisions, treated us kindly, communicated with us throughout, helped us understand things (without talking down to us), and stayed focused on solving the problem. I felt we were lucky to be his hands and I'm very grateful the team did such nice work. Highly recommended!

We Feel 911 HAZMAT CLEANUP Exploited our Emotional State and Took Advantage of our elderly mother…read more Just recently my husband and I lost our son to suicide. It destroyed us and happened in our home. My mother in law stepped in to help with the hazmat clean up so we wouldn't be further traumatized. She called 911 HAZMAT CLEANUP. They showed up quickly and arrived with e-documents for her to sign in her distraught, the very next day. She didn't get any estimate and signed the digital contract sometimes checking both yes and no on questions (they didn't even notice that.) They claimed they checked with her for all they disposed of; but only listed and checked about some "bedding", "clothing" which had been on the floor, and some carpet. This contamination was extremely localized; it was only one small part of the floor; nothing above 6" When we got to unpacking what they had removed from our closet, we found all our good camping, surf, and dive gear was missing. These things were only stored in our top shelves where there was no contamination and many items were even visible in the photos taken by the 911 HAZMAT CLEANUP workers. They charged around $3000 more than the $5700 our insurance covered for 4 1/2 hours of work by two men in a van. The pain of realizing all these things were missing was gut wrenching and still is. We had built this gear up over many years. No things really matter in a tragedy like this; but it feels so violating when we are already heartbroken. When we contacted them, they claimed they only disposed of the things on their list, restated that the bill was due, and, should we fail to pay in accordance with the contract; they could put a lien on the house. No discussion, no accountability, no empathy. Their contract has many protections for them; basically enabling them to dispose of whatever they deem necessary and no legal recourse for us. We filed a sheriff's report but can't bear to do more. We need to heal. If you ever have to deal with such a terrible situation, I suggest you beware; make sure you get an estimate, watch them work, get support from someone you trust who is not in shock. And I wouldn't trust that they will respect the elderly. In short; if you can use any other company I think it would be in your best interests.
