After purchasing two sets extensions AM still did not achieve the hairstyle I wanted on me but was able to on a new bride recently. I think they do what they want instead of what you want. My wedding makeup (the bride) was so harsh and behind schedule. When asked "is it okay" when I'm already behind for my wedding what am I supposed to say?!? I will never get my wedding back and using AM beauty is a decision I will always regret. Manisha is quick to respond! I came in on Saturday morning, which was so nice to have their studio open on the weekends! Manisha (owner) greeted me so kindly. She assessed my eyebrows, and we discussed what I was going for. This was my first time getting tint on my eyebrows. Her salon follows CDC guidelines with COVID precautions, she had her mask on at all times. I thought it was amazing that she was threading my eyebrows (without using her mouth, which is how threading was done before). After making sure I was happy with the shape, she proceeded with the tinting process which took only 10 or so minutes. I have to say I am SO happy with the results! The tinting makes my eyebrows look full with such a nice shape! They offer other services such as facials, microblading and lash extensions with another artist there. I am so impressed with the time Manisha took to explain the process, how she listened to my requests, and made sure I was satisfied with the results. She is a true professional and just so kind! For many services, every 4 weeks. I have recommended many people to this business along with being happy with the results. That said, I have had the worst experience from there in the last week. First of all, my original appointment on 5/26/17 was cancelled. Jessica Fitzgerald (West), the owner, said she had an emergency. No problem, I'd been seeing her for many years, this is not the first time I had been cancelled on and I totally understand that emergencies happen. I then re-booked an appointment for 6/8/17. I couldn't remember what time I booked the appointment so I went onto her website to check, it showed cancelled. No notice, no nothing. I then texted Jessica asking if she accidentally cancelled that one too, assuming it was an error. I still needed a sugaring at this point. I asked her if she could stay late or come in a little early as this cancellation was not told to me. I was willing to be flexible, but needed her to be also. I asked her multiple times to give me a day that worked best for her. She never did. Said I needed to go book time on her website and that it wasn't her fault that they had been cancelled. I assumed she would be a smart enough business woman, to understand if she made a mistake to own it and be willing to fit for a long time customer. She wasn't. Her responses were rude and unprofessional. Saying "What can't you believe? That I'm not being over backwards to rip out your crotch hair out when there is a million other places you can go because my schedule doesn't work with yours?...you are being such a princess. I don't need this stupidity in my life." Mind you, she picked a profession that "rips out crotch hair" and I guess I was "being a princess" because she wouldn't help figure out a time that worked for both of us, after cancelling TWO appointments in the last week. Needless to say, I will never be going back and you shouldn't either. If you would like to actually have your appointments kept and someone professional, do not go here. Update: After posting this review Jessica again decided to text me about how I am "a piece shit" and that she "called the police and contacted her lawyer". Again showing how unprofessional she is behaving and all over a Facebook/ yelp review. If you don't want the drama, stay away from this place.

In fact, the one product she recommended she was able to give me a sample of to see if I like it at home before buying! The facial itself was divine. I don't think I can remember all that was involved but I remember a cleanse, steam, enzyme treatment, extractions, masque (some sort that was to help with my rosacea), and a final masque that set to a weird, rubbery texture. I suppose you could come to her for a relaxing facial spa, but I'd say her approach is far more skin-corrective, which meets my needs. However, this is by no means to say facials are painful and not enjoyable. I just need, and am willing to tolerate extractions. If you have any skin concerns, she is beyond knowledgeable and will work with you to get your skin looking its best. I have also seen Jamie for eyelashes; you can't beat her pricing! She is attentive and works with your lashes; applying the correct type of lash for your lash load, so when your lashes come off should you choose to discontinue, you will still have luscious-full lashes. Unfortunately for me, seasonal allergies have gotten the best of me since moving back to Seattle, so no more extensions for me She also does a fine job with waxing. My 20-year-old won't see anyone else! She's very picky and has one too many botched jobs. She goes to WSU so it's tough for her to maintain them on her own in-between services, but it's the price she's willing to pay for perfect brows. I haven't tried their new service, sugaring, but I hope to do so soon. A couple last tips: 1) Make your appointments in advance. She's in high demand. However, she does do her best to work with your busy life. 2) Don't worry about being manipulated or guilted into buying a bunch of overpriced products.
