The counselors are very unwilling to help my kid with some application processs and also very non-attentive. They also seems to be not that knowledgable about certain processes that should be common knowledge for them. Even some of school teachers are wondering why the counselors do not know some things. I was very happy when I attended CHS back in 90's, but they do not seem to hire staff members who are ready and willing to help students. Also when I tried to contact principal or any staff in the school, I had very hard time contacting them. I don't know why they want to act like celebrities. So after my kids graduate from CHS, I should probably move to different town. I stuck around here since I spent my childhood here, but the school system starts to suck very rapidly.

The counselor acted as a true therapist for the kid in exactly understanding miseries and letting the kid come up with the solutions.

Oak Meadow has been an absolutely amazing educational experience for my family for the past two…read moreyears. My children are young (2 and 4), so it's my first school encounter as a parent, and I know the bar has been set incredibly high. The children are nurtured and deeply cared for by amazing, highly qualified and empathetic teachers who lead by example. They are genuinely excited to go to school each day, and, through the Montessori teaching method, absorb imperative life, critical thinking, analytical, and social skills in the classroom that they then take home with them. Oak Meadow students (my own and those that I've observed of all ages) are independent thinkers who are considerate, respectful, and supportive of one another. It's so refreshing to witness! The school proved to be a wonderful choice for my son's education . It has helped him develop a sound foundation in all aspects of academic learning while providing him the right kind of social and emotional support necessary for well rounded development. He has gone onto thrive in a highly competitive high school program with no issues. The personal attention and care that he received from his teachers all through his years at the school has a lot to do with this success. We have been so happy with his progress that we had no hesitation to start his younger brother in the same program a few years ago and we have been very happy with how well he is thriving at the school. If you are looking for excellent academics this school is a good choice. If you are looking for more than just academic excellence, I think there is nothing better than this school and its teachers!!
