Well first off I want to thank Tyler and his respected team thank you so much for proving the system they were wrong it was and has been such a bittersweet moment but as far as for what Tyler did for me goes beyond what you were asked of I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. My Babies have their Daddy home. When I first brought this case to Tyler's attention we weren't sure if there would be a case opened and we had, had the evidence of innocence for myself as I was the client with the most known criminal history from the past at the time. so long story short a secret indictment came in and then Tyler instantly went to work on providing the evidence of my innocence which was the video. From there Tyler pushed through the motions tried to move for them to be dropped mind you this was an attempt murder 2nd and assault 1 unlawful use of weapon. 2 measure 11 and the 3rd believe class c felony. Mandatory minimum looking at well over 25 years I commend Tyler for pushing through the investigation mind you I was his client before the fire and we went through to trial almost 2 1/2 years later and Tyler did his due diligence in the court room mind you this was a three co defendent case that we were fighting for each other not against each other. This was a self defense case as he was the aggressor Tyler proved me his client was innocent countless times on openings during questioning and while I was on the stand all the way through close and all the through the court hallways knowing I was innocent and at verdict Tyler was respectful of my family mind you one co defendant is my brother and was robbed on a guilty verdict due to corruption of the courts. I heard good things about this firm from a friend of mine who had speeding tickets fought by them before. I heard stories of his sentences being greatly reduced and I was intrigued. Submissively, I paid them the $600 up front. I explained my case to Emily, who was my attorney. We agreed to attempt to reduce the mph caught from 102mph, to 99mph in hopes of reducing my fine (because it would be under 100mph) and expunge the risk of potential license suspension. - that was all I wanted. The court date came up, and Emily informed me that I didn't have to attend even though I was planning to. (I have never been to court before) Mid-court session, I find to have Emily texting me that the judge wasn't looking to budge on my case. She texted me asking "good things" or "responsible things" about me that she could tell the judge. I couldn't believe it.. She asked me if I left the group of friends that were with me as if that would change my behavior. SHE THEN ASKED ME IF I SOLD THE CAR. Smh The court date was postponed since I wasn't there. A few months later, we go back to court and I join her there. She was practically late. I spoke with the deputy who pulled me over, and her outside the courtroom before it began. She attempted to side hug me while talking to the deputy of "how much a good man" I am. I was honestly more annoyed of how the case went rather the result. I feel like I was just targeted as an easy client, and seen as childish and quick way to make money. If I knew this was how it was going to go, I would've made a better case myself. I'm not sure why I didn't make the report sooner. Partially because it takes too long, and too busy with my life to offer attention towards my past.
