My favorite type of wine is Albariño, it is a white wine native to Portugal (where it is known as Alvarinho) and Northwestern Spanish region of Galicia. For those reading and interested, this is the taste profile according to The Spruce Eats: "Albariño is a dry white wine with aromas of citrus and peach. On the palate, the wine can exhibit characteristics of grapefruit, lemon peel, apricot, and sweet melon. Because the grapes tend to grow in coastal regions, they can also have a touch of salinity. Some wines may exhibit a slightly bitter finish, similar to citrus pith. Overall, albariño is light-bodied and low in tannins but high in acid. The high acidity makes this wine refreshingly mouth-watering and best served well-chilled." I used to have it quite often when I lived in Miami, but had become a difficult thing to find up here. I was in the past able to order a number of them through a local liquor store near my house, but that sometimes required large minimum orders and that can be a bit of a pain. They have a staggering selection of wines and beers compared to many other places I've visited in Fort Wayne. They had almost 2 fridge sections of just Indiana/Fort Wayne beers, which I love trying when I'm home from California. After picking out a local beer (Taxman), I wandered closer to the check out counter to find a tasting area! The man behind the tasting area said they are open everyday for tasting, and he also asked what I liked--and I ended up trying a limited edition Don Julio that had been aged in Scotch Barrels. It was fabulous and I would have never ever know this existed without his help! Loved my experience here and I can't wait to go back to try out more local options!

Not a liquor store as they definitely sell beer but not liquor. It also sells soda, milk and other sundry items. Service is quick, as it essentially is a drive thru. You just pull in, tell the attendants what you need, they load your car and you pay. This is great especially in the winter, when you certainly do not want to get out of your car!

A good amount of brews on hand from various Ohio as well as Michigan breweries that I saw, and prices were pretty decent overall. There was only one person working and she was not as up to sped in the beer, but she was friendly and courteous, and offered any details she could. If you are a beer drinker passing through on I75, then do yourself a favor and check out what they have to grab for your next destination.
