What in the world is going on at this location??? This has always been our favorite location, but the last two times? Awful!!! We decided to give them another chance today. The place was quiet and not busy. Once seated, a timid young woman came to our table to take drink orders. This location has never had Coke Zero and we can't stand diet. Today, we were informed by the server that they had Coke Zero. Awesome! Not. It was diet. Confirmed by another staff person. They do not serve Coke Zero. There were two other tables being served in the restaurant. Both had four people. Not at all busy. I had ordered a water along with the fake Coke Zero. Had to ask three times for said water before it finally made its way to the table. Same with refills. Finally stood up when the server passed by and handed her the glass. She responded as tho we had never asked. Ordering was a process. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich for my aunt. Was informed they were out of bread. So she had the wrap. I asked to add Italian sauce to the sandwich. You would have thought I was speaking a different language. So I waited while she wrote. Didn't want to confuse more. She finally looks up at me, and with frustration, spins her fingers as a wheel would turn. I looked at her trying to figure out what she meant and she said "go ahead! Order!" Sheesh! So I ordered boneless wings for my mom and an extra large Raphael BBQ chicken pizza, substituting jalapeños for the bell peppers. Had a coupon for free breadsticks and showed that to the server. She said she didn't know anything about that. Didn't take the code, didn't offer to ask the manager. Just... went on about her way. We had the manager remove it. She did so gladly. We arrived at 11:05. We ate as soon as the food came. We did not leave until 12:43. Pizza was not cut. Drink refills were not timely (other tables asked and immediately received), and lack of knowledge of the menu by the server was non existent. I've worked in restaurants. Front house and back. I know it can be stressful. There was no need for that today. Training needs to take place asap. As much as we love the pizza... it'll be a LONG time before I even consider visiting this location again. read more

The pizza is awesome! The staff is friendly and quick, the ambiance lends itself to typical pizzeria style.

Greek's Pizzeria is a place I've seen for two years and failed to try until about a month ago. And gone there for the past three Saturdays now! I've had the one type of pizza (Rafael's Chicken Barbecue) which is awesome, but I've seen numerous other dishes. The spaghetti and meatballs look amazing, and my friend said it was delicious. The grilled chicken bacon club is also a terrific looking hot sub. My friend said it's very good! The breadsticks and the salads are also great! The place is very clean and it's decorated well. There are large TVs living the tops of the walls with sports playing. I highly recommend this place in Portland!! Love it! read more

The food is delicious. We usually take our grandchildren there cause they like the food and the games

The price is a little bit high, but the service is friendly and the food tastes great. Apart from the pizza, the pasta and wings are very good choices on the menu. Our only negative experience has been a slow delivery, but that could very well be chalked up to a busy time of day. Overall, a good place to eat in Portland, doubly so if you like supporting local businesses in the area. read more

Poor service I cannot say this strongly enough very poor service. Pizza is not very good not that I'd really know the buffet was empty most of the time. What I did get was pedestrian flavorless undercooked doughy and not worth the time effort or expense to go here. read more

I'm not certain why this is rated with so many but here we go... we placed an order for delivery, 2 sandwiches, small pizza and breadsticks, unsweetened tea, and a coke. ( not a difficult order) so you say?? Well take that back, the entire order besides the pizza was a mess. No drinks, 1 wrong sandwich was delivered, and wait what happened to the breadsticks. On top of that the restaurant kept moving the delivery order later and later. So I called and spoke with a young man about the order being wrong, he apologized and said we are very busy so you can wait and we will resend the order in an hour, or you can just have your money back. Okay it's late, just refund what you didn't send. Well not so great, I should have waited to call, my 9 year old attempts to eat her small pizza, burnt crust and she says( we could have just got a frozen pizza at Walmart) haha . The Taco Pizza Never once have I ever had it made with chicken, and was quite shocked and disappointed that it wasn't made with ground beef flavored with taco. But she fixed it and made me one that was excellent. Their sandwiches and pasta are good too. read more

I am seldom excited about a pizza joint, Greek's really surprised me. It's my understanding that they make their own sauce from scratch. Whatever they do, its working. It's a subtle but effective ingredient which makes a huge difference in their pizza. Furthermore I'm in agreement with the other yelpers that are fans of the buffet. It does rock. It's that simple. Service was what it needed to be and I was a fan of the atmosphere. I did not have any local comparisons this trip, which is tough because Portland is loaded with pizza establishments, but Greek was a highlight of this trip. Therefore they get the 5 star benefit of the doubt. A lot of good little restaurants in this small town. I was pleased. read more

One waitress and nobody old enough to serve beer on a Saturday. What a disappointment when we talked this place up to our hungry guests from Georgia. The food is great, the wait and lack of beer is sad. Next time I guess we will call ahead or take them elsewhere. read more

Had to wait to be seated (seen) after dinging the bell twice as the waitress flirted with the cook. Had to change to a table because the booths are not fat people friendly. After about a third thru my drink my husband noticed something large and Brown in my ice in my drink upon serving the cheese sticks that were missing cheese and the extra sauces I asked for, I noticed the waitress was either bleeding from her finger or had pizza sauce on it. Had to ask for a refill. The pizza was so soggy it was floppy and had to use a fork to eat it (what the fork!?!?!) First bite was hot af yet the next bite was freezing cold. Never disappointed here. Cold beer and hot pizza. Free delivery. The buffet ROCKS. Fernanda is a terrific and knowledgeable hostess. The salad bar and garlic loaded bread sticks have always tempted me. But, the pizzas are so totally loaded... No room for salad or bread!! I finally made it to this Greek's Pizzeria today for the lunch buffet. While the original Greek's in the Village will always be my favorite, this one is very nice. The restaurant is clean, the service is very good, and the pizza was great. It was packed for lunch being the 4th of July so the buffet stayed hot and fresh.
