We used KnD for my 1 year olds party this past weekend. They were very professional upon arrival and took time to decide the safest way to set up our jumper slide combo. They dropped off the correct amount of tables and chairs that I ordered and called about 10 minutes before they were going to pick up. I gave four stars only because the night before, don called and said the window for drop off was between 10-12 and we planned for that, but they weren't able to come until 12:30-12:40 and our event was at 1. Not a huge deal but in the moment I was stressed. Easily forgettable though the party was wonderful and we had all we needed thanks to KnD! Will be ordering again in the future. I received an email confirmation as well as a phone call the next day to confirm my reservation. They called a few days before the party to reconfirm our reservation. I started planning our high school's 20th reunion back in February, and KnD was a reference from one of the girls I went to school with. We had planned a huge picnic for the senior class of '98 and their families, and since so many of us have large families now, getting a bounce house was a perfect idea. I called Don at KnD JumpAround and he was so easy-going. He gave us a great price for a Castle Jumper, a Tsunami Slide, a cotton-candy machine, and a popcorn maker. They held my reservation for several months and then checked back in with me in this month (July), which was the month of our reunion. The day of the event, they came to the park where we had reserved a large picnic area and met me an hour before the event started. Don's son Donavan was there with his friend Daryl (not sure I spelled that right) and they were both very nice, chill guys who were happy to drive the truck and trailer attached as far into the park as necessary in order to set up the generator, jumpers, and equipment. They presented a paper contract and liability waiver for me to sign, charged my card with a Square, and immediately got to work setting up the generator. They inflated both the jumpers, attached long cords to the generator for the cotton candy and popcorn, and Donovan gave me a quick tutorial on how to operate both machines. He let me know the rules of the jumpers (no shoes and no unattended children) and then he and Daryl packed up and let me know they would arrive at 3pm to break it all down. The event was a hit! It looked like a kid's dream-birthday party, even though it was a reunion picnic. Amazing how one company could come through with such simple additions, and it really made the event a huge success for the kids. The parents were happy too, because their kids were having so much fun. When the event was winding down, Donovan showed back up as promised and dutifully broke everything down while the guests wrangled their kids and lingered, reminiscing. Before I knew it, they were packed up and gone! They left us flyers, which I was happy to pass around, and I really hope they have lots of success, and that people continue to trust them to make their parties and events awesome.
