Equipment is old school but still in solid shape. Very friendly staff and no nonsense space. Clean.

I've been a member of Life Time Fitness in Fort Washington, PA, and I can honestly say it's one of…read morethe best gyms I've ever experienced. The environment is incredibly welcoming and family-friendly, which makes it comfortable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The facility itself is top-tier, with a very spacious workout area that never feels overcrowded. I also love the variety of amenities, especially the indoor and outdoor swimming pools--they're always clean, well-maintained, and a great addition to my routine. One of my favorite parts of the gym is the cycle class. Clarence, the instructor, is absolutely amazing. His energy, motivation, and ability to push everyone to do their very best truly sets him apart. He creates an encouraging atmosphere while still challenging you to go beyond your limits, and every class feels both rewarding and empowering. Overall, Life Time Fitness in Fort Washington is an outstanding gym, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive, high-quality fitness environment.

I had been happily attending until a series of negative events caused me to cancel my membership…read more It started with my nephew who had been involved in kids Academy, and wound up breaking his arm there. He reported, slipping and falling on something wet, which leads me to believe that the facilities weren't being properly monitored for cleanliness and safety around children. The following week, my son fell in his lip was busted, but the team in charge of kids academy really had no explanation as to how that happened either. Finally, in an attempt to relax recently, I chose to enjoy the steam room and hot tub on site. Both rooms had mold on the floor, and when I went to take a shower, I found that someone had detangled their hair and smeared it on the wall of the shower and that no one had bothered to clean it up. At over $200 a month for the membership you would expect that maintenance will be available and that I would not have had hair balls flying at me when I tried to get in the shower, but that is not the case. I reported this issue to the front desk and they gave me the email address to their manager. Unfortunately, I was given the wrong email address and the email bounced back. I copied the overarching Life Time email address in my communication and all I received was an automated email saying that my membership has been canceled. No acknowledgment of my experiences there. Extremely disappointing.

I have to say, I LOVED the instructor and the experience. It was great. She checked in on me, explained everything, it was nice. However, I'm disappointed in a few things. Cost: ok we knew this would be pricey. However, just to sign up, it'll be about $120/month AND $120-ish for the required heart rate monitor. Required. So if you end up not liking it after a few months, you wasted a lot of money Customer service: I let customer service know that I was waiting on a work schedule before signing up since I needed to ensure I could make the process worth it, and attend the classes you get per month with my 2 jobs. I told this to customer service, told them when I would find out because I didn't want them to think I was ghosting them, but they kept calling me prior to that date. I can't sign up without confirming I can attend! Their customer service has continued to call without leaving voicemails (my VM is not full, I clear it after every voicemail). The only reason I know it's them is because I googled the number after my second missed call from them without a VM (I don't pick up unknown numbers due to all the spam calls). I'm really unhappy with the outreach without truly following up appropriately. I'm at home sick and unable to talk well, so once I get my voice back, I'll be calling them back to let them know my experience. Also the price is crazy expensive with really limited availability. Over $100/month for 4 classes a month that you are allotted. Update: I checked with my friend and they are leaving her voicemails and still calling her. However after this review they stoped calling me. I also continue to receive VM from others and never from OT.

The classes are very challenging and overwhelming at times, but the coaches are A+ material and will help you every step of the way. Every class here is different, I'm the type that needs discipline and structure and OTF never disappoints. It's honestly the best workout around and makes you want to go back. I also go to the OTF in Center City and Langhorne when I get make a class in Willow Grove, they're all amazing!

Bride requested this location…read more First and foremost the server taking care of us was lovely, super accommodating and took great care of us!! The space was beautiful. Didn't make a stink the day of because our server was so kind and we had such a great day, but if you're looking to plan an event there are definitely things you should be made aware of. Planning and preparing for the event with the event coordinator was a bit of a pain and that pain continued into the event itself. Communication was not great, emails taking days or weeks to respond and can't get anyone on the phone. We had to reschedule a meeting due to a medical issue on her part (which was totally fine) but there was no communication on the clubs end of things (even after I called the day of the meeting and was told someone would be getting back to me, no one did). We later had to reschedule another meeting which was this time my fault. The week of, after requesting it, I was sent the invoice for the event. The invoice was not accurate so I asked for it to be adjusted and was told it would be sent back.. it wasn't. Day of the shower one of the bridesmaids was first to arrive and the coordinator did not bother to show her to the room or say hello, introduce herself, nothing. During the shower there was not lemonade and iced tea on the tables as I had discussed with the coordinator. We get to the start of food and I notice after everyone has already eaten that the rolls and butter were never put out, the waitress says she wasn't told and scrambles to find us rolls and butter. When planning with the coordinator, we discussed doing a mimosa bar for the purpose of cutting cost on a full bar and bartender, she failed to tell me that the champagne bottles they sell are $45 a bottle, it was NOT cheaper than doing a full bar. All in all for the cost of the venue ($600 room rental plus food and beverage plus a 20% gratuity on the ENTIRE bill, not just food and bev) there are DEFINITELY better places to host your event. It's a shame because the event space is beautiful, but it seems as though the event coordination is lacking tremendously. I wish I would have read more reviews before booking because it seems as though these aren't new issues.

According to their cancellation (or freeze) agreement, you need a doctor's note for every month that you attempt to freeze the plan. They will also magically mark you as "checked in" to the gym the day you cancel so that it looks like you've been using it, even if you haven't checked in & have been trying to cancel for long periods of time because you can't physically show up. Their policy for cancellation is to continue charging your account even when you physically come in to sign. I called multiple times. "Our policy is not to do it over the phone." I couldn't come in, they 'froze my account' until I could drive an hour back to my original place to cancel. They told me they would still charge me for this whole month, bc I didn't do it 7 days in advance. I said I shouldn't be charged, you froze it. "They do not have a record of it." But what we do have is a very long trail of phone records of my calling to cancel with no avail. What do they think I do? Call to chat about how I do not use their gym & went to a different place a long time ago? A policy to scam as many people out of as much money as possible.
