I was given a free introductory workout (!) and introduced to using new state of the art equipment. Jessika was my trainer, and she coached me in a positive and supportive manner. I was amazed to find out that there was always 1 to 1 training, including dietary information. They took my whole health history, and remember to accommodate for my specific issues at each workout. So, not only did I join, but I lost 22 pounds and feel so much stronger, with better balance. AMAZING‍

The women's restroom has always been a pigsty, dance hall is always full of dust bunnies, and no disinfectant wipes ever since I started coming. It wasn't till recently that a young lady named Shannon has changed around the women's restroom is always spot on and so it the dance hall. Shavon is not only such a pleasure to see and such a hard worker. Whatever she gets paid she needs double. Thanks again for the new addition from a paying active member.

Bride requested this location…read more First and foremost the server taking care of us was lovely, super accommodating and took great care of us!! The space was beautiful. Didn't make a stink the day of because our server was so kind and we had such a great day, but if you're looking to plan an event there are definitely things you should be made aware of. Planning and preparing for the event with the event coordinator was a bit of a pain and that pain continued into the event itself. Communication was not great, emails taking days or weeks to respond and can't get anyone on the phone. We had to reschedule a meeting due to a medical issue on her part (which was totally fine) but there was no communication on the clubs end of things (even after I called the day of the meeting and was told someone would be getting back to me, no one did). We later had to reschedule another meeting which was this time my fault. The week of, after requesting it, I was sent the invoice for the event. The invoice was not accurate so I asked for it to be adjusted and was told it would be sent back.. it wasn't. Day of the shower one of the bridesmaids was first to arrive and the coordinator did not bother to show her to the room or say hello, introduce herself, nothing. During the shower there was not lemonade and iced tea on the tables as I had discussed with the coordinator. We get to the start of food and I notice after everyone has already eaten that the rolls and butter were never put out, the waitress says she wasn't told and scrambles to find us rolls and butter. When planning with the coordinator, we discussed doing a mimosa bar for the purpose of cutting cost on a full bar and bartender, she failed to tell me that the champagne bottles they sell are $45 a bottle, it was NOT cheaper than doing a full bar. All in all for the cost of the venue ($600 room rental plus food and beverage plus a 20% gratuity on the ENTIRE bill, not just food and bev) there are DEFINITELY better places to host your event. It's a shame because the event space is beautiful, but it seems as though the event coordination is lacking tremendously. I wish I would have read more reviews before booking because it seems as though these aren't new issues.

During that time, I never once found a working locker. For four months, nearly every lock was broken. When I asked staff, they said it was getting fixed. When I complained on Instagram, I was blocked. Repairs happen on a bizarre schedule. One day during peak hours, someone in a welding mask was using a blowtorch to solder the leg extension machine behind a single strand of caution tape. Sparks were flying, it smelled like molten regret, and I wasn't sure whether to finish my workout or file a mesothelioma claim. The locker room smells like a foot--the kind a Civil War barber-surgeon would immediately amputate. I would rather eat unsanitary street food than shower there. The humidity is intense, and the cleaning approach is laughable: one bucket of dirty mop water gets dragged across what feels like 20,000 square feet of gym floor. Are they rationing soap? Most members keep to themselves, but about one in ten act like they escaped auditions for a VH1 celebrity dating show. One regular in a crop top hoards three machines to do some kind of punching-based oblique workout. If you try to work in, he treats it like an act of war. Others proudly wear MAGA or "Atilis Gym" merch, radiating main-character energy no one asked for. There is no lunk alarm, no enforcement, and no gym etiquette. It's Bizarro Planet Fitness--a chaotic mirror version where weight-slamming is constant and common sense goes out the window. If there were a basketball court, people would probably be doing Snake Plissken shot clock drills in ski goggles. I even showed up in the background of a TikTok rant for using the hip thrust machine during someone's filming session. There's nothing wrong with a man trying to work his way out of a flat butt. The music is offensively loud. Despite wearing noise-canceling headphones and partial hearing loss, I could still make out every word of Kanye and Drake. There's an entire cardio section that stays empty because it sits under the loudest speaker in the city. The staff and trainers seem burnt out and disengaged. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was given three different answers across three calls. One person told me to call an 800 number. Another told me to wait until the end of the week. The third said it was canceled but to double-check with ABC Fitness. I gave up and emailed them myself. No one seemed to have the same answer twice. Final verdict: like skipping leg day, skip this gym. Your lungs, ears, and sanity will thank you.

According to their cancellation (or freeze) agreement, you need a doctor's note for every month that you attempt to freeze the plan. They will also magically mark you as "checked in" to the gym the day you cancel so that it looks like you've been using it, even if you haven't checked in & have been trying to cancel for long periods of time because you can't physically show up. Their policy for cancellation is to continue charging your account even when you physically come in to sign. I called multiple times. "Our policy is not to do it over the phone." I couldn't come in, they 'froze my account' until I could drive an hour back to my original place to cancel. They told me they would still charge me for this whole month, bc I didn't do it 7 days in advance. I said I shouldn't be charged, you froze it. "They do not have a record of it." But what we do have is a very long trail of phone records of my calling to cancel with no avail. What do they think I do? Call to chat about how I do not use their gym & went to a different place a long time ago? A policy to scam as many people out of as much money as possible.
