Pillows kind of sucked as they were too soft, but if you pile up three of the it worked out. I'm not sure how old it is, I am sure it's not new, but you could not tell it wasn't. Meticulously well kept! Bravo! It had the normal carb heavy fake food breakfast. It's free, what do you expect Adam?? Hard pass on all of that. The paper thin bacon is ok if you 176 slices, that is equivalent to about 1/4 pound maybe. Tehehe There is a nice looking restaurant attached with a great bar. Liquor store across the highway. What sets this hotel apart is the Calandras Mediterranean restaurant. It's fantastic and a big step up from the average hotel fare. I enjoyed my stay, and the complimentary breakfast was very nice, with waffles, oatmeal, omelettes, cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc. Nice outdoor lounge space at hotel too.

So we went to the front desk to ask they said someone would bring to room. 3 days later we still have NO hand towels. Also, a friend went to the front desk to ask if they could call us down. They informed the person we weren't here. She stated I just dropped them off. They again stated we weren't here and told them there wasn't anything they could do. Speaking to manager the next morning, she didn't seem to be upset nor did she care. BTW: we still never got hand towels. For 700+ dollars they definitely need better training and a staff that supports their customers.

I was still skeptical after someone told me it was a nice hotel. My room was nice and spacious although the wallpaper was outdated. Not a huge deal. The bathroom smelled like bleach which is great since it was spotless without a hair in sight which I usually see in hotels. The mattress was firm, and the pillows weren't flattened, small and old. The continental breakfast was a bust, but the staff was really nice, and they accommodated me well. I even got a shuttle ride to the bus stop. I was impressed for sure and If I'm staying in the area again, I will return.

The staff is always accommodating and the hotel is clean and well maintained. When you are looking for a hotel in the area make sure to give this one a try. Unfortunately I have to lower my rating from a four to a two. The bathrooms are desperately in need of an update. There are rust marks around the shower head that is pulling away from the wall. In addition, paint is peeling off the bathroom ceiling and the carpet in the bedroom area is DESPERATELY in need of either a deep cleaning or replacement. This was always our go to hotel when visiting Jersey. Now it's our go to another hotel!

The room was quiet and we heard minimal noise from the interstate. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. There is plenty of parking and the free(IHC Diamond Elite members only) breakfast was great. We didn't get to try the Fat Cactus restaurant which is part of the hotel but it looked great. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the elevators are extremely slow so we took the steps mostly. All-in-all this was a great stay. Enjoy :)

My daughter's necklace was stolen in the hotel room…read more The necklace belonged to my daughter's late grandfather and is emotionally irreplaceable to our family. Before my daughter's dance competition, I personally removed the necklace and pendant from her neck and placed it on the counter in the bathroom because I did not want it damaged during the event. When we returned, the necklace was gone. I immediately reported the matter to an employee named Colin Bent, who advised that the housekeeping manager would contact me the next morning given I was checking out on 5/10/2026. When I followed up on 5/10/2026, there was no evidence of a message being left or awareness of the matter. Instead, a supervisor, Maria Jacovo, and Irilande approached us and spoke to other employees in Spanish while implying that we somehow threw the necklace in the garbage. She wasn't aware that I spoke Spanish as well. Rather than treating this as a serious matter involving a guest's valuable property, our concerns were dismissed with little effort to investigate or assist us. The housekeeper was asked and said there was no necklace observed, yet the pendant without the chain was left where we left it. This handling has been unacceptable and deeply upsetting given the sentimental importance of this necklace to my daughter and our family. This necklace is priceless to our family because it came from my daughter's late grandfather. The dismissive treatment we received after reporting its disappearance has compounded an already devastating situation.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Our room was bigger than the usual hotel and it had a small balcony which was lovely. It also had a fridge with a freezer and a microwave! There is ample parking and everything felt safe and secure to me. The only downside was the free breakfast which was sparse, low on choices and the "hot" items were still frozen an hour in. Do no count on filling up here, but I do no discount review scores for "Free" things. In the end, this hotel is safe, clean, and affordable, everything I ask for in a short stay.

The hair from the bathroom has been moved to the rest of the room after they said they cleaned, bedsheets were clearly just remade and not changed, trash was never taken out, etc 2. SO MUCH NOISE!! In this part of New Jersey, both cheap and good don't exist in the same sentence for hotels based on my previous experiences. After doing some rushed research, ended up here this time. Hotel is directly off US-46 with plenty of parking. Michael Angelo's Restaurant & Brick Oven Pizza occupies a large portion of the first floor. Whole hotel is very basic, with only one elevator in the lobby, and three floors. Front desk was helpful during check-in as I needed to leave a key for a friend who also decided to drive in early for the same event. Used the AAA discount to save a few dollars. This is a pet friendly hotel, so you might hear barking, and our hallway did smell like dogs. Room is basic but clean. Shower had hot water and decent pressure, but the shower curtain was stained. Room had two queen beds, full size mini fridge, microwave, and a larger than expected TV with an easy-to-use Direct TV interface. Room had a good number of electrical sockets. Some of the negatives were the small pillows, carpeting needing a shampoo or replacement, and the door did not block much noise. Our office chair was also worn. This is your standard basic short stay hotel and if you don't need the extras other hotels offer, the Red Roof Inn might be an option. End cost with tax was over one hundred dollars for one night, so I would not classify this hotel as being in the cheap category.
